Alexandra Magistrate's court in Johannesburg continues to hear the bail application of controversial businessman, Vusimuzi Cat Matlala

The Alexandra Magistrate's court, in Johannesburg, is hearing the bail application of controversial businessman, Vusimuzi Cat Matlala. The 49 year-old is charged with the attempted murder of actress, Tebogo Thobejane, after Thobejane was wounded during a shooting in 2023. In pposing the application, the state has argued that Matlala also has a fraudulent Eswatini identity document with a different surname. SABC reporter, Pearl Magubane filed this report
