The guitar parts were written last and make little sense if the song is played with just guitar and voice. Graham and Marc wanted to play a drum’n'bass solo, so there is one of sorts in this. It would appear that the guide guitar track remained in the final mix. All the keyboard sounds were created by Richard from scratch on the DX7.
