Dark Company: Corner Clowns (alpha mix)

Corner Clowns by Dark Company. From CD 1, 'SNAFU', of the triple CD album 'A for Acronym'. CORNER CLOWNS Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Slippin’ round the edge of a hidden door Waving at me daily from across the floor Dancing through the dark in a conga line Kicking up their legs, they look so fine Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Slidin’ down the walls from the picture rails Shouting at me rudely in grunts and wails Hopping up and down in a vulgar way Singing their songs of yesterday Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Living in the skirting boards mouse’s holes Showing me proudly what they stole Shining lights round my room at night But I keep my eyes shut real tight Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Here they come again, I see them Lyrics by P. Greatorex, June 12th 2011. Music by G. Davies/P. Greatorex. Copyright © 2011 D & G Music/Explicit Music. Cover Art: “Marklar! (South Park)” by Peter Greatorex. See: https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex-gallery-6/ Performers: ‘Speedy’ Pete Greatorex – vocals Zakk Black - guitars Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums Copyright ℗ 2026 Wud Records. FUN FACTS: * This classic rock number has a Tim Curryesque cabaret feel to it. * It is also a somewhat comical piece of cock-rock. * The key is E major and it is 145 BPM. * It describes the spirits and ghosts that lurk in corners when it's dark. * Perhaps this is a song for the children, but maybe not very young children. * Corner Clowns has a wonderful fun feel to it somehow. * The guitar break between verses two and three was composed by George when he was about five years old. * This was following a rather tedious morning in Sunday School somewhere in London, which he attended only thrice. * An older girl was grumpy that he had coloured somebody in with green skin. Dark Company: Head Rush (alpha mix)

Head Rush by Dark Company. From CD 1, 'SNAFU', of the triple CD album 'A for Acronym'. HEAD RUSH The clamour and the glamour Meets itself coming back Elastic plastic waif child A curve ball of attack The reaching and the preaching You know it is all lies Cruel jewelled God's eye From Lord of the Flies Look me up, look me up, wherever you are Look me up, look me up, I haven't gone far Look me up, look me up wherever you are Look me up, look me up, I haven't gone far The pushing and the shoving All trying to get in front Frantic antics crawl along Life is just a stunt The sulking and the skulking Politics of hate Jammed in the slammer Prisoners of fate Look me up, look me up, wherever you are Look me up, look me up, I haven't gone far Look me up, look me up wherever you are Look me up, look me up, I haven't gone far The calling and the stalling Sees itself in the glass Coming from the left field All life is a farce The leaving and the grieving Of love's labours lost Wide tides the full Moon The land bears the cost Look me up, look me up, wherever you are Look me up, look me up, I haven't gone far Look me up, look me up wherever you are Look me up, look me up, I haven't gone far Lyrics by P. Greatorex, April 9th 2011. Music by G. Davies/P. Greatorex Copyright © 2011 D & G Music/Explicit Music. Cover Art: “My World” by Peter Greatorex. See: https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex-gallery-2/ This arrangement by Dark Company. Performers: ‘Speedy’ Pete Greatorex – vocals Zakk Black - guitars Josh Reynes - synthesizers Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums Copyright ℗ 2026 Wud Records. FUN FACTS: * This is a song that Pete never sang a proper studio version of. * His vocals were lifted from the demo and cleaned up a bit. * Well, quite a lot actually. :) * There was always something a bit 'Hawkwind' about this track, right from the creation and the first demo. * Perhaps Pete being friends with band Hawkwind in the 1970s and 80s was a factor. * The addition of the second guitar gave the track a slight Ultravox or maybe The Fall feel. * Although the synths aren't quite right, they are in the right general area. * Josh used synths from DSK Music, many of which are free. * DSK synths are available here: https://www.dskmusic.com/ See also: https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/ https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/a-for-acronym-cd-1-snafu/ https://linktr.ee/dark.company https://www.explicitmusic.co.uk/lyrics-information/dark-company/a-for-acronym/head-rush

Dark Company: Black Lite (alpha mix)

Black Lite by Dark Company. From CD 1, 'SNAFU', of the triple CD album 'A for Acronym'. BLACK LITE I hear noises in the walls They don’t bother me at all There are voices in my head I never hear what is said I’m a well adjusted loon I only dance to my own tune A majority of one I’m a vagabond of fun All alone inside the bus Riding there without fuss All the moons have gone away Cos the night has turned to day World there in a tear drop A crystal liquid full stop Can you hear the rabid choir Singing liar, liar, liar Now and then I look around Just to see what’s going down Well past my sell-by date I am fashionably so late All I ask of the night Keep on shining your black lite All I ask of the sun Is please give me back the fun I hear noises in the walls They don’t bother me at all There are voices in my head I never hear what is said Lyrics by P. Greatorex May 7th-8th 2013. Music by G. Davies/P. Greatorex Copyright © 2013 D & G Music/Explicit Music. Cover Art: “In a Drop of Water” by Peter Greatorex. See: https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex-gallery-7/ This arrangement by Dark Company. Performers: ‘Speedy’ Pete Greatorex – vocals Zakk Black - guitars Barry Bridges - guitar Josh Reynes - synthesizers, piano, programming Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums, programming Copyright ℗ 2026 Wud Records. FUN FACTS: * This is a song that Pete never sang a proper studio version of. * His vocals were lifted from the demo and cleaned up a bit. * Well, quite a lot actually. :) * At the end of the demo version, the bass continued on for a while alone. * It played some interesting things, which have been captured and sprinkled here and there throughout the song. * The whistley flutey sound that appears in the fade-out came from some ghost sounds in the guitar. * They weren't actually there, but were clearly audible during editing. * They simply had to be included. * The guitar to the left is the Zakk on the Ice Maiden and Barry is to the right on the ESP. * Somehow the demo for this started on the 3-beat rather than the 1-beat. * All the same, the feel worked perfectly with the electronic drum rhythm. * That rhythm was captured as a drum sample and moved half a bar, with the end chopped off and stuck on the beginning to make it a round 4-bar sample. * The sample appears here and there throughout the song. * DSK synths used include the Zith, the Zeth, the Oranze, and The Grand with a ton of reverb. * DSK synths are available for free here: https://www.dskmusic.com/ See also: https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/ https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/a-for-acronym-cd-1-snafu/ https://linktr.ee/dark.company https://www.explicitmusic.co.uk/lyrics-information/dark-company/a-for-acronym/black-lite

    Dark Company: Conspiracy (alpha mix)

Conspiracy by Dark Company. From CD 1, 'SNAFU', of the triple CD album 'A for Acronym'. CONSPIRACY Sticks of certain sizes Propped against the walls Measuring the sunlight As down on us it falls Stoney lonesome statues Rising from the ground Hidden in the woods and sand They speak without a sound Coral babies reefshine Growing through the sea Hiding cunning fishes Hiding away from me I caught the careful current That eddies through the town I use a Baja surfboard So I can get around Sleeping fabled monsters Waking just to eat Scooping all the brains out Of every skull they meet Chalking up the numbers On cave wall lists of stone To be re-found down the ages On the world called home Every ancient people Have legends of the stars Of those who came to visit And made us what we are Every race and tribe does have Symbols for the Gods That came down from the Heavens In living breathing pods Lyrics by P. FUN FACTS: * The lyrics for this song were written 10th July 2010. * This is a song that Pete never sang a proper studio version of. * His vocals were lifted from the very rough demo and cleaned up a bit. * Well, quite a lot actually. :) * Dark Company never got a full take of Pete's vocal for this. * We are hoping to find someone with the right kind of voice to fill in the gaps. Dark Company: Project Terminated (demo)

Project Terminated by Dark Company. From CD 1, 'SNAFU', of the triple CD album 'A for Acronym'. PROJECT TERMINATED Crimson schizoid hollow man Twenty first century airport scan Marked flood upon the shore Apocalyptic foreign war Greed has come and the money’s gone Now we pay for others' wrongs Atlas says he’s getting tired The trouble is he can’t be fired More and more the souls pile on Already things begin to go wrong The prophecies of theosophy Says voices shout “You’re killing me” Let me tell you of all my fears You got to listen so you can hear I worry when I seem to know More than that they say is so Truth is thought no longer right “Certainly” becomes “maybe”, “might” Nostradamus said so much Reached from history with his touch He spoke of the end of the human race Now it’s staring us in the face We can no longer steer the ship It’s gone too far to stop the trip Lyrics by P. Greatorex January 12th 2011. Music by G. Davies/P. Greatorex This arrangement by Dark Company. Copyright © 2011 D & G Music/Explicit Music. Cover Art: “Give It All You've Got!” by Peter Greatorex. See: https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex-gallery-2/ Performers: ‘Speedy’ Pete Greatorex – vocals Barry Bridges – guitar Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums Copyright ℗ 2025 Wud Records. FUN FACTS: * Pete bought a funny purple plastic loudhailer toy from Maplins on the way to the studio one day. * He proclaimed, among other things, "Project Terminated!" into it a few times, on its most Daleky setting, which was tremendous fun. * The lyrics for this song were written 12th January 2011. * This was another of the most stand-out and immediate demo tracks. * Zakk has not yet recorded his guitar part for this song. * The guitar is not quite in tune, sadly. * Barry's guitar is in standard tuning, tuned down to D standard. * That makes the key of the song C. Dark Company: Committed (alpha mix)

Committed by Dark Company. From CD 1, 'SNAFU', of the triple CD album 'A for Acronym'. COMMITTED Play strange games with what makes you real What you need to close the deal In weird ideas the difference is there But there is no one to really care To peculiar needs you have to succumb Or you'll never do what needs to be done You'll see scenery you don't understand Just a desert with peculiar sand You'll see tunnels without any ends Filled with messages that no one sends Think odd thoughts about where you have gone Chase the memories lingering on In some places are wonders that walk Stones that fly, walls that talk To these visions your mind commits There in your head the knowledge it sits You'll see scenery you don't understand Just a desert with peculiar sand You'll see tunnels without any ends Filled with messages that no one sends Porcelain pictures of mantle decor That is all they can be for In hidden shades the secrets they sit But that is where hammer blows hit And weird ideas are given birth Grown in the richness of your earth You'll see scenery you don't understand Just a desert with peculiar sand You'll see tunnels without any ends Filled with messages that no one sends Play strange games with what makes you real What you need to close the deal In weird ideas the difference is there But there is no one to really care To peculiar needs you have to succumb Or you'll never do what needs to be done You'll see scenery you don't understand Just a desert with peculiar sand You'll see tunnels without any ends Filled with messages that no one sends Lyrics by P. Greatorex 9th December 2010. Music by G. Davies/P. Greatorex. This arrangement by Dark Company. Copyright © 2010 D & G Music/Explicit Music. Cover Art: “Holes in My Reality 2” by Peter Greatorex. See: https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex-gallery-2/ Performers: ‘Speedy’ Pete Greatorex – lead vocal Zakk Black – guitars, vocal Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums Vocals and rhythm guitar recorded at Wud Records Studio One, Exeter, 2015. Everything else recorded at Wud Records Studio One, Europe, 2020. Engineered, mixed and produced at Wud Records Studio One, Central Europe, 2024. Copyright ℗ 2025 Wud Records. Fun Facts: * The lyrics for this song were written 9th December 2010. * This is a song that Pete never sang a proper studio version of and his vocals were lifted from the demo and cleaned up a bit. * Well, quite a lot actually. 🙂 * It was during the editing of this track that the main studio computer suddenly decided to mangle itself beyond all recognition, causing weeks of delay and expensive replacement parts to be bought. * Fortunately no data was lost due to our cunning back-up strategies. * When we made the original demo of this song, it just had a chugging guitar to keep Pete in key and on time. * In the demo version the bass continued on for a time after the vocal and guitar, playing the gappy riff and the rhythms. * The ‘chug’ was replaced here by the twin lead parts, which together with the bass make up the major and minor triads that form the original chord progression (more or less). * The original had an electronic kit which needs to make a reappearance somewhere. * The lyric to this suggests the perspective of an older person looking back at his life and the pains associated with that. * Perhaps the older we become, the better we can relate. Dark Company: Helping Hands (demo)

Helping Hands by Dark Company. From CD 1, 'SNAFU', of the triple CD album 'A for Acronym'. HELPING HANDS Rhyming time in vacuumed lines I hear the verses soaring On angels' breath the words of death Like fingers they’re exploring I feel the beat of racing wings I understand all these things Yet they are gone by morning Dreaming scenes in deadbeat schemes All are on back burners Spirit words that just I heard Said all the souls are learners I know the touch of tender love I also know it’s not enough You need the ground that’s firmer Corporate kings and financial things Beyond our understanding You can’t own the open sky Not even by demanding I like to think of hands in prayer Though they’re just another layer No one is left commanding Livid sky mirrored in my eye White cloud billows floating When I look round there is no sound The silence it is choking Oh see me, hear me, give me signs Let me feel them in my mind Tell me, lead me to Heaven’s end Where all that’s left is hoping Where all that’s left is hoping Where all that’s left is hoping Where all that’s left is hoping Lyrics by P. Greatorex 27th January 2013. Music by G. Davies/P. Greatorex. Copyright © 2013 D & G Music/Explicit Music. Cover Art: “Hand Held” by Peter Greatorex See: https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/dark-company/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex/original-artwork-by-peter-greatorex-gallery-3/ Performers: ‘Speedy’ Pete Greatorex – lead vocal Zakk Black – guitars Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums Vocals and rhythm guitar recorded at Wud Records Studio One, Exeter, 2015. Everything else recorded at Wud Records Studio One, Europe, 2020. Engineered, mixed and produced at Wud Records Studio One, Central Europe, 2024. Copyright ℗ 2025 Wud Records. FUN FACTS: * This is a song that Pete never sang a proper studio version of. * His vocals were lifted from the very rough demo and cleaned up a bit. * Well, quite a lot actually. :) * This song is a piece of classic rock in a Britpop style. * It is in the key of E at 91 BPM. * All the guitars were played on Nicodemus, with a big painful hole in the thumb of the player. * The chords in the verses are E B E C#m A E F# A Am6 E. * In the third verse Pete (accidentally) introduces an unexpected key-change. * There the chords are E B E Ebm G# Ebm F# A Am6 E. * The chords in the instrumental section are E C/G D/A. * Right at the very end it is E C7 E. * The bass part from the last verse to the end is far more challenging to play than it sounds * This produced a surprised "Huh? How did THAT happen?!" face on the player. * Helping Hands is one of those magikal Dark Company songs that can invoke goosebumps in the listener, perhaps slightly surprisingly. BSoD + D²: Dominance And Submission

Dominance and Submission by The Bastard Sons of Dennis with Dave Danielli. Album: Cruelty to Blues Dominance and Submission is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1974 Secret Treaties album. Lyrics: S. Pearlman Music: E. Bloom, A. Bouchard Copyright © 1974 Columbia Music. This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Inspiration drawn from the Secret Treaties and Extra Terrestrial Live versions. Recorded at 164 BPM. During a live Bastard Sons of Dennis performance, there would be a bit of chat, such as thanks to the venue and sound guy and personel introductions, after the guitar solo and before the "Dominance", "Submission" section. In the long pauses before "It will be time!", Derek and Chuck would spin their guitars upside down. Stuck on the back of Chuck's guitar was a large sign that read "Throw panties now!", and on the back of Derek's was a similar sign that read "If no panties, bras!" Very few undergarments were ever actually tossed onto the stage, apart from on one occasion when somebody had brought a big bag full of old knickers and distribued them to the audience. Both the stage and the band were covered in them! Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar, vocals Dave Danielli - bass Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One 2011-2017. Bass recorded October 2023. BSoD + D²: Redeemed

Redeemed by The Bastard Sons of Dennis with Dave Danielli. Album: Cruelty to Blues Redeemed is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1972 eponymous album. Music and lyrics: A. Bouchard, A. Lanier, H. Farcas, S. Pearlman. Copyright © 1972 Columbia Music. This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Inspiration drawn from the version on the eponymous Blue Öyster Cult studio album. Redeemed was always a tremendously popular Bastard Sons of Dennis song. It was one of the first songs the duo ever performed live. It was added to their repertoire for one of their first ever shows, which happened to be just before Christmas. They would describe Redeemed as their Christmas song, even if it was the middle of summer. The count-in for a live performance was "One, one," or two other random numbers. This was due to the rather odd amount of beats at the beginning. The guitars in this version were both recorded live at the same time in Wud Records Studio One. The vocals were added afterwards, and the bass a long time later. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar, vocals Dave Danielli - bass Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One, exeter uk. Bass recorded in north devon, June 2024. BSoD + D²: Then Came the Last Days of May

Then Came the Last Days of May by The Bastard Sons of Dennis with Dave Danielli. Album: Cruelty to Blues Then Came the Last Days of May is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1972 eponymous album. Music and lyrics: D. Roeser. Copyright © 1972 Columbia Music. This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Inspiration drawn from the versions on the 1972 eponymous Blue Öyster Cult studio album, and the 1975 live BOC album On Your Feet Or On Your Knees. Then Came the Last Days of May was always a tremendously popular Bastard Sons of Dennis song. It was one of the first songs the duo ever performed, appearing in the duo's first ever live performance at The Angel in Exeter. The lyrics are a true story. This song was composed by Donald 'Buck Dharma' Roeser, guitarist and vocalist of Blue Öyster Cult, after three friends of his from Stony Brook University in New York were murdered in a drug deal that went very wrong. Derek would often change the word 'truck' in the line "Now and then a truck" to 'duck'. This was always hilarious, with his exemplary comic timing. Ducks became something of a theme for The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Fans would often bring their own toy ducks along to shows. Occasionally Chuck's lips wouldn't be moist enough to perform the little whistle that comes at the end of his solo. This was also very funny. Check would just end up blowing and puffing and shrugging in a comical way. The whistle actually comes from the 1970s uk sitcom The Goode Life. The character Tom Goode would often give this little whistle. Exactly where Tom took it from remains largely mysterious. Blue Öyster Cult perform this song in the key of E minor. The Bastard Sons of Dennis transposed it to A minor. The tempo increase after the first verse was Derek's suggestion. It was a very good one. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar, vocals, whistle Dave Danielli - bass Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One, exeter uk. Bass recorded in north devon, October 2023. Produced, mixed and mastered by George Davies 2025. BSoD + D²: The Subhuman

The Subhuman by The Bastard Sons of Dennis with Dave Danielli. Album: Cruelty to Blues The Subhuman is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1974 Secret Treaties album. Music: E. Bloom Lyrics: S. Pearlman Copyright © 1974 Columbia Music. This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Inspiration drawn from the versions on the 1974 Secret Treaties studio album, and the 1975 live BOC album On Your Feet Or On Your Knees. The Subhuman was one of The Bastard Sons of Dennis's most progressive songs. Chuck would tune his guitar to a drop-D for the interpretation. This particular version owes much to the wonderful live On Your Feet Or On Your Knees recording, where guitarist Donald Roeser demonstrates his absolute mastery of the melodic minor. Within this cover there is a lot of guitar soloing. It is all highly definitive and would be performed more-or-less identically by The Bastard Sons of Dennis every time. Both Chuck and Derek take solos. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar Dave Danielli - bass Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One, exeter uk. Bass recorded in north devon, November 2023. Produced, mixed and mastered by George Davies 2025. BSoD + D²: Wings Wetted Down

Wings Wetted Down by The Bastard Sons of Dennis with Dave Danielli. Album: Cruelty to Blues Wings Wetted Down is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1973 Tyranny and Mutation album. Music and lyrics: A. Bouchard, J. Bouchard. Copyright © 1973 Columbia Music. This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Inspiration drawn from the 1973 Tyranny and Mutation album. Wings Wetted Down is a truly wonderful song, often overlooked. The craftsmanship of its composition by the legendary Bouchard brothers is masterful. This version is in G# minor. The chord progressions are so beautifully constructed, with a minor second A major and a 'devil's interval' flattened fifth chord of D major providing a gloriously satisfying twist. Both Chuck and Derek take solos. Derek's is an addition that is not found on the original version. Wings Wetted Down was always a very popular live song. It was performed on many occasions by The Bastard Sons of Dennis and introduced by the band with a cryptic and comical description. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar, vocals Dave Danielli - bass Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One, exeter uk. Bass recorded in north devon, February 2024. BSoD + D²: She's as Beautiful as a Foot

She's as Beautiful as a Foot by The Bastard Sons of Dennis with Dave Danielli. Album: Cruelty to Blues She's as Beautiful as a Foot is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1972 eponymous album. Music and lyrics: A. Bouchard, A. Lanier, R. Meltzer. Copyright © 1972 Columbia Music. This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Inspiration drawn from the 1972 eponymous Blue Öyster Cult studio album. The percussion instrument at the beginning of this recording is an old disused CPU fan and its various danglesome janglesome appendages. Chuck would tune his guitar to DADGAD for this interpretation of this song. She's as Beautiful as a Foot was sometimes used to open longer Bastard Sons of Dennis performances. Derek takes the solo at the beginning. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar, percussion Chuck Palmer - guitar Dave Danielli - bass Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One, exeter uk. BSoD + D²: Astronomy

Astronomy by The Bastard Sons of Dennis with Dave Danielli. Album: Cruelty to Blues Astronomy is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1974 Secret Treaties album. Music: J. Bouchard, A. Bouchard. Lyrics: S. Pearlman. Copyright © 1974 Columbia Music. This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Inspiration drawn mostly from the 1974 Secret Treaties studio album. Chuck would often introduce this song by telling the crowd that it was famously covered by Metallica. "We wrote it of course! Cough ahem..." A few artistically tasteful variations on the original have been made for this version. One of the composers, Joe Bouchard, listened to it and granted his royal seal of approval. Both Derek (panned right) and Chuck (panned left) take solos during the song. Astronomy was often the final song of a live set from The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar, vocals Dave Danielli - bass Len Denier - keys Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One, exeter uk. Copyright © 1982 Pok Songs/Explicit Music. This arrangement by Pok, Fedax Si-Hulmin, Maxx Damage and Sven Stiglund. Performers: Pok the Bard – lead vocal, electric guitars Fedax Si-Hulmin – electric guitars, backing vocals Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums Recorded at Wud Records Studio One, Exeter, 2017. Fedax's solo and Sven's drumming recorded at Wud Records Studio One, Central Europe, 2025. Engineered, mixed, produced and mastered at Wud Records Studio One, Central Europe, August/September 2025. Copyright ℗ 2025 Wud Records. Fun Facts: She's Beautiful is one of Pok's oldest songs. He composed it when he was still at school. It was inspired by seeing a girl he knew and admired whilst waiting for a bus at exeter bus station. The earliest versions go all the way back to Now in 1982. The tempo varies between 66 and 122 BPM the key is A major. The rhythm guitar parts are both played using Marsha, which had new strings. The Ice Maiden, which Fedax would have played, was in need of attention on the day. Pok is on the right channel and Fedax the left. Pok's lead guitar is played on Nicodemus. Fedax takes an eight-bar solo on the Ice Maiden, based on his little solo in the Cander version. This particular version of She's Beautiful is based upon the Laughing Sun version from Cander, which is regarded as the definitive version. The Cander version is here: https://wudrecords.bandcamp.com/track/shes-beautiful She's Beautiful was a song in the works for Alchemeon's set, but never made it to a recording before they disbanded. Pok: Freight Train / Pains

Freight Train / Pains, by Pok the Bard. Album: Anthology FREIGHT TRAIN / PAINS Freight train coming in from the east Where it's going is where I care the least Whispered messages that I did not hear Take me to the place that my body needs I don't know what's happening I hope I can eat today Judge and all his courtiers looking down upon me They say: this is the cripple that wants to be free He says we owe it to him, it's in his heritage Wants to know when we're going to let him out of his cerebral cage Justice should be seen to Let's put him away Well thank God for that They've split the scene I was beginning to think I was lost Gotta get back into normal living Plug in that TV screen Gonna pull myself together Gonna have a cool bourbon on ice After all things like that don't occur Think of the children It ain't nice Listen son you've had you're fun Don't go acting on the run Stop wasting time around here You want to live, you want to give You want to cut above the rest Go on out and get it To the top Some people say I left my soul riding on that freight train I'm inclined to agree It has affected my whole brain Don't listen to authorities that claim they've sussed it all Keep on driving on your own track Take care they don't make you fall Take care they don't make you fall Take care they don't make you fall Take care they don't make you fall Don't let the bastards grind you down Take care they don't make you fall Take care they don't make you fall Music and lyrics by Simon Miller. Copyright © 1983 Pok Songs/Explicit Music. This arrangement by Pok and Maxx Damage. Recorded, engineered, produced and mastered at Wud Records Studio One, uk, 26th April 2017. Remixed and remastered at Wud Records Studio One, Central Europe, April 2025. Performers: Pok: acoustic guitar, electric guitars, vocals Maxx Damage: bass Copyright ℗ 2025 Wud Records. Fun Facts: The freight train described in this song is the exact same train as the one described in Cunning and Tricks, another song on the Anthology album. One of Pok’s very early songs, this one was mined from his book Golden Temple and the Laughing Sun during an outbreak of archeology. The entire song was recorded and produced very quickly one day, when other things had actually been planned. As the whole thing went fast, there was still time for those other things. Sven was not available on that day, so there are no drums. The acoustic guitar is George's Yamaha, fitted with 9-guage electric strings. Remixed and remastered at Wud Records Studios, Central Europe, 2025. Performers: Pok - guitars Maxx Damage - bass Sven Stiglund - drums Copyright ℗ 2025 Wud Records. The Anthology songs are the early compositions of Pok and friends, who were also known as The Masters of Drone. Fooog'z Bloooz started out as a riff, which might have existed as far back in time as the days of Achilles Heel. Certainly it existed in the days of Fooog Dinboffin and the Release. This version took that riff and expanded upon it just a little. Fooog'z Bloooz was recorded very quickly, to preserve the magic of its re-creation and development. Its original release date on Bandcamp was 12th May 2013. This, the remixed and remastered version, was completed on 22nd March 2025. Pok: It's a Blue Sky Don't Hold No Rain

It's a Blue Sky Don't Hold No Rain, by Pok the Bard. Album: Anthology IT’S A BLUE SKY DON’T HOLD NO RAIN And I’ll try and try and try and try to get to you And I’ll try and try and try and try again And I’ll try and try and try and try to get to you And I’ll try and try and try and try forever Forever We came across some bones of men Scattered in the rust So many good souls turned to dust Within their shattered husks And these people had worn jewels And their heads had been held high Speckled foreheads touched the sky Behold the sparkling in their eyes Don’t you know it’s a blue sky don’t hold no rain Don’t hold your love in vain Cos we’ve still got some loving to do Some time ago the white man came Bringing Bible books and swords Bound them up in twining cords In the name of their great Lord They slew down the Aztecs Inca, Ebu, Maasai Now we hide in concrete lies To my Mammon side I cry What have we done To the Mother Goddess Gaia? Why can’t we nestle in her Warm aching bosom? Aah aah aah aah aah aah aah aah Just a little drop of rain Just a little drop of rain Just a little drop of rain Come bless this land again Just a little drop of rain Just a little drop of rain, rain, rain, rain Just a little drop of rain Come bless this land again Just a little drop of rain Just a little drop of rain, rain, rain, rain Just a little drop of rain Come bless this land again Don’t you know it’s a blue sky don’t hold no rain Don’t hold your love in vain Cos we’ve still got some loving left to do Now the world’s a spinning ball Two thirds with none to eat While we chew our scrawny meat Can you hear those big bells beat? What have we done To the Mother Goddess Gaia? Why can’t we nestle in her Warm aching bosom? Aah aah aah aah aah aah aah aah Music and lyrics by Simon Miller. Rainy Afternoon by Dark Company. From CD 1, 'SNAFU', of the triple CD album 'A for Acronym'. RAINY AFTERNOON You see ropes around their necks They’re just there for fun Not tied or hitched in any way Nothing from them is swung Just for fashion, darkened passion Against their milk white gowns As every night they slowly fall And in my senses drown Carpet tiles wreathed in smiles Lingering on my landing Dumbly coloured and poorly lit They have their understanding Arriving packed in neat bound stacks And pulled tight with a band If laid out in certain shapes A door to another land Gaudy chalk in boxes marked Lying there just for taking No price or test of any sort Just for pictures making And beware to have some care Of what you use them for What drawings that you do create Or they'll come back for more Lyrics by P. Dark Company: Suns Set (alpha mix)

Suns Set, by Dark Company. From CD 1, 'SNAFU', of the triple CD album, 'A for Acronym'. SUNS SET I'm waiting for the nite to come... I'm waiting for the nite to come... I'm waiting for the nite to come... I'm waiting for the nite to come... In the red rays of a dying sun I'm waiting for the nite to come Booming surf across the bay Metal waves rolling night and day Canisters marked with skull and bones Click against the shoreline stones What will be in the days ahead Will it be armies of the living dead What will be there when the sun comes up Will there ever be a loving touch On the wine of evening airs Gaudy music of war-torn fairs Roundabout of skeletal frames Going round and round again In my ears calliopes sound A new age gets off the ground What will be in the days ahead Will it be armies of the living dead What will be there when the sun comes up Will there ever be a loving touch You should seek other countries Choose your friends more carefully The leading kings of foreign lands Your destiny is within their hands You seek justice of lasting peace Violence is all you meet What will be in the days ahead Will it be armies of the living dead What will be there when the sun comes up Will there ever be a loving touch Lyrics by P. Performers: ‘Speedy’ Pete Greatorex – vocals Zakk Black – guitars, vocals Josh Reynes – synths Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums Fun Facts: * The lyrics for this song were written 25th June 2009. * Dark Company used the DSK Analog Matrix synth for three of the keyboard sounds (https://www.dskmusic.com/). * Two of them are big pad sounds that play in unison, with shared heavy reverb and flange, so are hard to tell apart. * The lead guitar parts are played on the Ice Maiden, as is the rhythm guitar part to the right. * The rhythm guitar to the left is Nicodemus. * Pete simply couldn’t remember the vocal melody for this, so a unison guitar was tracked to help him along. * Dark Company ditched the unison guitar parts where Pete is singing and used it in the solo. * It’s the filthy dirty one that always seems to sound slightly surprised. * Pete wrote this before various members of Wud Records left the uk and, like many of his other lyrics, it turned out to be extraordinarily prophetic. Performers: Pok the Bard – lead vocal, lead and rhythm guitars Fedax Si-Hulmin – guitar, backing vocals Josh Reynes – organ, synths Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums Fun Facts: * Don’t Let It Pass You By begins with a cute little instrumental in the key of A major. * This section introduces the string section and keys, there are no drums. * Pok plays a rhythm track on Marsha panned to the right throughout the song and a clean sounding lead track panned down the centre, also on Marsha. * Fedax plays chords on the Ice Maiden panned left, and Maxx’s bass and Josh’s DSK B3x are also present. * Fedax uses a patch on the Neural DSP Quad Cortex called Brit 2203, scene 1, and the Ice Maiden’s bridge pickup in humbucker configuration to conform with the original Laughing Sun interpretation. * Once the intro is done, the key changes to E major and the feel becomes a hard blues rock vibe. * The tempo for the song is 144 BPM, or allegro vivace. * Don’t Let It Pass You By has a lyric that delivers a very strong and positive message. * The whole song is upbeat and has a real feelgood factor about it. * Don’t Let It Pass You By was composed by Pok in 1985 and the earliest version was performed by Laughing Sun. * It was also performed by the Spacegoats during their brief Electric Elves incarnation, some of which you can hear in the Archives section of the Wud Records website. * The synth that sounds a little like the EDP Wasp is the Kriminal Twilight synth, which is freeware, and you can learn more about it here: https://rekkerd.org/kriminal-releases-twilight-vsti/. * There is also a pad called fullonpad from the Polly8te by Osiris, which you can find here: https://sites.google.com/site/osirissynths/Home/synth-page See also: https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/pok/ https://www.wudrecords.co.uk/artists/pok/anthology/ https://wudrecords.bandcamp.com/track/dont-let-it-pass-you-by-2 https://www.explicitmusic.co.uk/lyrics-information/pok-bard/anthology/dont-let-it-pass-you-by https://www.youtube.com/@poktv6148/videos https://www.facebook.com/pokthebard http://pookofpok.blogspot.com/ https://linktr.ee/pokthebard

Fun Facts: * The Lecher is in the glorious key of E major. * The tempo is 88 BPM with a 12/8 feel. * The Lecher is one of the oldest songs in the Wud Records pantheon of awesome music. * The Lecher was composed by Pok in the music rooms at The King's Grammar School, Ottery St Mary in the spring of 1982. * This song was included in the repertoire of Achilles Heel. * The Lecher is, in essence, a truly great riff enhanced by some jamming. * Pok plays all of the guitar parts on Betty the Bastard, a Tokai SG with a mean streak. * We invite the listener to listen out for the place where Pok doesn't play any notes at all and just makes some delightfully lecherish scratchy noises on the strings. * The Lecher was the first song that was finished for Pok's Anthology album. * It is no longer certain which ‘lecher’ in particular this song was about. * It was for certain one or more of the teachers at the aforementioned King’s Grammar School. Pok: Wear a Feather in Your Hat

Wear a Feather in Your Hat by Pok the Bard. Album: Anthology WEAR A FEATHER IN YOUR HAT Well we came across some Indians, they were sitting in our road And with careful words we offered peace and them our weapons showed They made it and said that they sought a man with such purple skin If we had him there on board they’d scalp and do us in “It’s a long time since I saw such a man,” I said and they replied “OK, go on, you tell the truth. I can see it in your eyes.” Later on our road there was a boulder in our path Meg the man said “What can we do? No way can we get past.” I steamed a bit and thought a bit and said “This man tells the truth.” So I gave up being leader and sat down to pick my tooth Meg took on the role and quickly had it sussed With forty pounds of dynamite the rock he did bust Soon the cook was heard to cry: “There is no more water left in here! – I am making a casserole and the pot is boiling dry.” So I threw a coin up into the air, said: “This one I’ll try.” A few words from the good old book and rain fell from the sky “What was the other choice you had?” they asked and I replied “I don’t want to answer that now. Now let me out, I want to pass.” Vainly nightfall does its bit and we rattle on in dark Toothy starts a-singing, he says it’s for a lark Unfortunate for him it wakes something to cause his demise A stowaway that was on board pokes his head outside Toothy gets a fright and falls down and dies What was more was still to come – at night, colour lies Of the four of us left on the bus – Mook, Meg, Mog and I Not one of us did realise until the sun did rise That the new man who’d spent the night explaining who he was and where he’d been Had a case of the most purple skin we’d ever seen We whistled nervously ’til mid-afternoon Then Meg saw a bunch of Redskins, I fell down in a swoon Round about that time an eagle flies on down Says we gotta wrap it up here before we reach the next town So he does a bit of act shifting, messes around with our scene The Indians become a film projection on a Hollywood film screen What a pity they had to go like that, we could have made some friends The purple man smiles, disappears, and leaves a feather where he’s been Get up, stand up, be yourself, wear a feather in your hat If you truly believe in yourself you will remember that When you see your light a-coming, and come to you it will Expose yourself to its full rays and just soak up your fill You can be so lonely or you can be amazed Take my advice my friend and wear a feather above your face Get up, stand up, be yourself, wear a feather in your hat If you truly believe in yourself you will remember that When you see your light a-coming, and come to you it will Expose yourself to its full rays and just soak up your fill You can be a man of wud or you can go insane Take our advice my friend and wear a feather above your brain Music and lyrics by Simon Miller. I see them walking almost every day See them walking and they’re coming my way I see their eyes and they’re looking at me You can’t kid me that you are free, no You can’t kid me that you’re free And the sun don’t shine for you it shines for me Well I don’t care what you’re wearing No, I really don’t give a damn Just tell me where you’ve been, boy Cos I don’t know who I am And the sun don’t shine for you, it shines for me And the sun don’t shine for you, it shines for me And the sun don’t shine for you, it shines for me Music and lyrics by Mark Drower / Simon Miller. Engineered, mixed, produced and mastered at Wud Records Studio One, Central Europe, 2024. Copyright ℗ 2024 Wud Records. Fun Facts: * The Sidewalk Song is in the glorious key of E major. * The tempo is 120 BPM, or allegro moderato if you will. * The Sidewalk Song is one of the oldest songs in the Wud Records pantheon of awesome music. * It is full of the bombastic swagger of a young person who sees the world and its exciting possibilities beginning to open up. * The Sidewalk Song was first composed by Pok and Mark Drower and performed by Now. * This song was also included in the repertoire of Lemming Meringue and Wud, with Ken adding his own special flare to proceedings. * The Sidewalk Song in essence is a very simple song, with just four chords – E7, A7, G and D. * Pok, panned to the right, plays Betty the Bastard, a Tokai SG with a mean streak, and handles all of the lead breaks as well as the rhythm. * Fedax plays rhythm guitar on Nicodemus and is panned to the left. * During the breakdown, Fedax plays the clean riff in the centre and Pok is double tracked, left and right, for some guitar wizardry. * There is a shout of “G!!!”, as became traditional, to warn everyone that the first G of the song was approaching. * There are three definitive combinations of E7 and A7 on the guitars which you can read about at the Explicit Music website (see below). * The improvised vocal section was never performed quite the same twice. * Pok used a classic recording of Mark Drower singing during a 1982 Now session for his vocal improvistaion template. * Maxx uses distortion on his bass from after the breakdown section to the end. * Sven, Maxx and Fedax overdubbed their percussion parts, which Sven arranged. Pok: The Dark, The Ring, and The Knowledge

The Dark, The Ring, and The Knowledge by Pok the Bard. Album: Anthology THE DARK, THE RING, AND THE KNOWLEDGE How can you tell if it’s friend or if it’s foe You never can be sure in the dark Reminding you of horrors read on someone’s older knee Keep you tucked well in your sheets A crack of light from out the sky The door swings to and fro Middle of night, what a fright Pick a movie slow Yes this is a world full of portals and windows We don’t know what lies beyond Stuck in a room you’ll play a sick tune If you don’t breathe the air outside Should you but one day walk on out See what you can find The darkness is a friend you know But seems to make us blind It’s been a long time since I took a walk With you by the stream So if you like we’ll go down there And talk of where we’ve been Lying in the water clear I found an ancient ring Gave it to you, I felt I ought I’m sure you’ve worn that one before Then you spoke to me about the fear That lies hidden out of view You want to know just what to do As if I held some clue Look within yourself my love Within will rule without But while you’re chasing phantoms round Make sure you’re getting something to laugh about You told me about a month on Woke up in the dead of night A wizard was there in your room all right You shuddered but it seemed OK He took hold of the ring that was Lying there on the desk And said “Oh child, you’re one of us But you must just wait a while.” And so we talked about this for a while How she coped with it all She seemed so much better now She faced her darkness came to her In knowledge of the ways and means Of fear of the unknown She found the way to all our hearts Is the way to her own Lyrics and music by Simon Miller. Copyright © 1985 Pok Songs/Explicit Music. This arrangement by Pok, Josh Reynes, Maxx Damage and Sven Stiglund. Performers: Pok the Bard – voices, guitars Josh Reynes – organ (left hand), piano (right hand), congas Maxx Damage – bass Sven Stiglund – drums, shaker Guitars, bass and voices recorded at Wud Records Studio One, Exeter, 2017. Original release date: 12th November 2023 Copyright ℗ 2023 Wud Records. Fun Facts: * The Dark, The Ring, and The Knowledge is in the key of G. * The tempo is 78.5 BPM, or andante if you wish. * This song first appears on the Laughing Sun cassette called Indeed. * Pok wrote it in 1985. * It was based on an allegedly true story told by a friend of Pok and the wider Wud posse. * She apparently lost a piece of jewelry and then found it again, several years later. * It was lying on the tarmac of a country lane, many miles from where it had vanished. * She was always somewhat prone to rather odd events and may indeed have awoken one night with a benign wizardly stranger shuffling and poking about in her bedroom. * We believe the stream where Pok and his friend went walking was in Hoopern Valley, in the grounds of Exeter University. * Pok plays a delightful fingerstyle acoustic guitar on the Tanglewood. * His lead parts were performed on Marsha, a beautiful Ibanez Roadstar II that was later stolen. * Pok is accompanied on drums by Sven’s infectious dancehall shuffle. * Josh played piano and organ at the same time and almost in one take. * Sven and Josh overdubbed the percussion. * Maxx completes the ensemble with understated and precision bass that works perfectly. * For full details click the link to Explicit Music below. The Bastard Sons of Dennis: Astronomy

Astronomy by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Album: Cosy Lube Turtle Astronomy is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1974 Secret Treaties album. Music: J. Bouchard, A. Bouchard. Lyrics: S. Pearlman. The Bastard Sons of Dennis: She's as Beautiful as a Foot

She's as Beautiful as a Foot by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Album: Cosy Lube Turtle She's as Beautiful as a Foot is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1972 eponymous album. Music and lyrics: A. Bouchard, A. Lanier, R. Meltzer. Chuck had the idea to begin by walking through the venue shaking the computer fan and playing small drums, whilst handing out burning incense sticks to the audience, although that never actually happened in the end. Derek takes the solo at the beginning. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar, percussion Chuck Palmer - guitar Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One in Exeter UK. The Bastard Sons of Dennis: Wings Wetted Down

Wings Wetted Down by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Album: Cosy Lube Turtle Wings Wetted Down is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1973 Tyranny and Mutation album. Music and lyrics: A. Bouchard, J. Bouchard. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar, vocals Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One in Exeter UK. Produced, mixed and mastered by George Davies 2023. The Bastard Sons of Dennis: The Subhuman

The Subhuman by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Album: Cosy Lube Turtle The Subhuman is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1974 Secret Treaties album. Music: E. Bloom Lyrics: S. Pearlman This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One in Exeter UK. Produced, mixed and mastered by George Davies 2023. Original release date 1st June 2011. Remixed and remastered version released 3rd October 2023. Copyright © 1974 Columbia Music. The Bastard Sons of Dennis: Then Came the Last Days of May

Then Came the Last Days of May by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Album: Cosy Lube Turtle Then Came the Last Days of May is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1972 eponymous album. Music and lyrics: D. Roeser. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar, vocals, whistle Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One in Exeter UK. Produced, mixed and mastered by George Davies 2023. The Bastard Sons of Dennis: Redeemed

Redeemed by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Album: Cosy Lube Turtle Redeemed is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1972 eponymous album. Music and lyrics: A. Bouchard, A. Lanier, H. Farcas, S. Pearlman. The count-in for a live performance was "One, one." or two other random numbers. This was due to the rather odd amount of beats at the beginning. The guitars in this version were both recorded live at the same time in Wud Records Studio One. The vocals were added after. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar, vocals Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One in Exeter UK. Produced, mixed and mastered by George Davies 2023. The Bastard Sons of Dennis: Dominance and Submission

Dominance and Submission by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Album: Cosy Lube Turtle Dominance and Submission is a cover song. Originally released by Blue Öyster Cult on their 1974 Secret Treaties album. Lyrics: S. Pearlman Music: E. Bloom, A. Bouchard This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis. Performers: Derek Broom - vocals, guitar Chuck Palmer - guitar, vocals Recorded and engineered at Wud Records Studio One in Exeter UK 2011-2017. Pok: Silver Ships on the Sea

Silver Ships on the Sea, by Pok the Bard. Album: Anthology SILVER SHIPS ON THE SEA Winter's call is calling Through the leaves You can hear the rustling sounds saying Free me please Said the seventh angel standing Amid the trees Say please come taste my simple wines Please come to your rest All along the stone strewn causeway Serpents coil and hiss Beckoning and whispering Bowing for the kiss See me and free me Do which is best Be me and free me Do which is best And there's a hundred thousand elves Waiting in their boats of sunlight Waitng and waiting for the rite For the rite Spring times are come again And we are but men Speaking and seeking Beginning again And you who stand on the border Waiving goodbye You wouldn't listen to their words You recognised the lie Come down to the sea At dawn with me Our boat is a bobbing and a rocking on the waves How is it you look at me, is it how I you? Are we agreed on our journeys being long due? Being long due And so the end Was only the beginning I rose to catch the sun But found it missing Loneliness oh loneliness My only guide A boat a-bobbing Way out on the tide Way out on the tide Music and lyrics by Simon Miller. Copyright © 1984 Pok Songs/Explicit Music. This arrangement by Pok and Maxx Damage. Copyright ℗ 2025 Wud Records. Fun Facts: * Silver Ships on the Sea was composed by Pok in the summer of 1984. * It is a wonderful whimsical wistful tale with a drop-D in the guitar - 'Drower tuning'. * We all loved this extraordinary song from the very first hearing and are very happy to be able to finally release this version. * We feel it is both authentic to the original, as well as capturing the full spectrum of sounds as imagined and conceived back in the 80s. * We invite the listener to feel the closeness of the festival crowd, and sense the dry ice and lighting on stage as the performers writhe and invoke under the moon. * What started out as a pretty little acoustic number about the Elves leaving Middle Earth turned into the most uncompromisingly relentless piece of hardcore psychedlia one could possibly imagine. * We had two attempts at recording the sea at Jacob's Ladder beach in Sidmouth, but sadly both were thwarted. * Firstly by strong winds which rendered the recordings horrible. * The second visit was thwarted by somebody's wretched dog, which barked and barked and barked for the entire time that we were there. * It was unbelievable. * It's probably still barking now. * Eventually we downloaded somebody else's recording of the sea. * It was a shame but it did the job. * We had always imagined the flotilla of silvery elven boats waiting at the water's edge at Jacob's Ladder beach. * Originally the acoustic guitars were played on a borrowed Ovation-style instrument, but due to technical reasons we had to re-record them all. * The re-recorded acoustic guitar was performed by Pok on his Tanglewood, and there is some video footage of the recording which we hope to publish someday.
