All about EASE – how to cultivate and live it

from WHO I AM | Strong Mind, Balance & Bold Moves – Guided Meditation Podcast by Jacky · host Jacqueline Friebe

“Just take it easy”, literally seems so easy, when people say it. They’re not dealing with that but load of fudge that I am dealing with. Plus, I can not even remember the last time I really completely felt ‘at ease’, free to breathe, laugh, relax. Time to attend to that right NOW. Don’t you also think that life is way to short to always focus on doing the things you have to do, most of which you don’t even like doing? Of course, not every moment is fun, easy or fairy floss, and perhaps you do have a very serious job or life circumstances. All I want to practice with you is to find more joy and ease in your daily chores – because oftentimes e.g. after the first phase of excitement in a new role, we start going into auto pilot more and more or be loaded with pressure and responsibilities that tend to mute our humor and our sense of playfulness. Even the most difficult tasks can be handled easier and most likely more successfully, when approached with fun. If your memories of fun are dull and grey in the background right now and you don’t know how to start, you don’t even feel like fun at all (I know what that feels like), then grab some headphones, a blanket and press play. I am here to guide you trough this. If you require additional guidance or find yourself left with unanswered questions regarding this practice, please connect with me on Instagram @whoiam.coach, send me a message and I promise, I’ll help you through it. Now find a comfortable space and let's begin.

The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
