All Mass Shootings are Acts of Terrorism - Why Aren't They Covered That Way?
from MOMocrats · host MOMocrats
Another week, another mass shooting. MOMocrats Karoli, Cynematic and Donna Schwartz Mills are as horrified as the rest of America at the senseless massacre of public employees in San Bernardino on Wednesday, but they wonder why the previous week's violence at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado wasn't also covered as an act of terrorism? According to this map published on Vox, there have been over 1,000 mass shootings in the three years since Sandy Hook, "with shooters killing at least 1,327 people and wounding 3,784 more." And while sane Americans everywhere ask for sensible laws that would make it harder for people to obtain guns for nefarious purposes, Congress has once again REJECTED a measure that would prevent dealers from selling guns to people on terrorist watch lists - AFTER the event in San Bernardino unfolded. The MOMocrats talk about this and other political news of the week from a progressive point of view. An Engender Media Group Production.Follow us on [email protected]@[email protected]
