5 Lessons From Today's AM Briefing The week paid. Two days of several 100-point moves off mapped levels, and this morning price finally tagged the Bull Bear Line for 144 more. Now it is Friday, and yesterday was payday. Here is what today was actually teaching. Lesson 1: Never short a short covering rally When the map says long only, every dip is an entry and every short is a fight against forced buyers. Trade the side the tape is on. Lesson 2: Hold your runner behind protection layers Park your stop below several Strong Levels, not behind hope. A stop five points under the RTH low let the runner ride all the way to the Bull Bear Line. Lesson 3: Go into the weekend a winner Friday is for protecting the week. Trade smaller, tighten your leverage, and never try to claw back the week on the last day. Lesson 4: Reached target means null and void Once a Battle Plan trade hits its target it has done its job.
