Amazin' Avenue Audio (The Show), Episode 47: To Tender, or Not to Tender?

from Home Run Applesauce: A New York Mets podcast · host Home Run Applesauce

Welcome to Amazin’ Avenue Audio (The Show), the new/old favorite from Amazin’ Avenue editors Chris McShane and Brian Salvatore.  This week, Brian and Chris reconvene for the first time in nearly 2 months (!) to discuss the state of the Mets' front office under Steve Cohen and the lack of a current general manager. Next, they discuss the decision to tender contracts to Steven Matz and Robert Gsellman, and the decision to non-tender four players, including Paul Sewald and Chasen Shrieve. With four more spots on the 40-Man Roster, Chris and Brian spotlight five potential players who were no-tendered by their clubs today that may make sense for the Mets in one way or another. Finally, the two newest Met relievers, Trevor May and Jacob Barnes, get the spotlight as the bullpen remaking begins. Chris’s Music Picks: King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - K.G.
