In occasione dell’Ottantesimo Anniversario della Guerra di Liberazione e di Resistenza Luciano Alberghini Maltoni (socio Gianophaps) dialoga con Sergio Cichella, figlio di Amelio (1916-2015) pilota, Medaglia d’Argento al Valore Militare.Luciano Alberghini Maltoniè figlio di un aviatore che prestò servizio durante la guerra a Rodi. Tra i primi ad occuparsi delle vicende del Dodecaneso Italiano, ha realizzato nel 1997, il sito tematico www.dodecaneso.org.Sergio Cichellaclasse 1944 segue le orme del padre arruolandosi in aeronautica come sottufficiale specialista aereo fotografo, presta servizio presso la seconda aerobrigata da cui ha origine la prima pattuglia acrobatica italiana che si chiamava i lanceri neri. Successivamente passa alla scuola di aereo cooperazione di Guidonia.AbstractIl Maresciallo Cichella è nato il 27 aprile 1916 a Castelvecchio Subequo (AQ) e ha volato con il velivolo CR.42 n.6, attualmente in mostra statica presso il Museo Storico di Vigna di Valle.La motivazione della Medaglia d’Argento al Valor Militare: pilota di velivolo da caccia e bombardamento partecipava a numerose azioni e missioni belliche dando costante prova di perizia e valore. In azioni ardite di attacco a bassa quota su aeroporti nemici dell’Isola di Creta concorreva alla distruzione di velivoli nemici, insistendo nell’azione benché colpito dalla reazione nemica.
