A typical tax-exempt institution such as churches, NGO's, governmental entities pay no income taxes, property taxes, or sales taxes. So, they pass the plate to pay the preacher and the choir director then borrow the rest. While American enterprises are required to pay operating costs and administrative expenses, then taxed on earnings and make a profit. Or they go bankrupt and can file a plan of quasi reorganization, cut wasteful costs, to the breakeven point and go forward, setting aside current and long-term obligations or go out of business for good. This is accrual accounting better known as GAAP generally accepted accounting principles, so they can register with the SEC, IRS, and the Better Business Bureau. No exceptions. While our government entities are allowed to use cash budgeting principles known as GAS. Government Accounting Systems.  The flaw is they cheat in their application of their budgets by adding borrowing into the receipts column to balance their planned budget.  Then for their GDP calculations they add deficit spending into the productivity figures to show growth in the economy. Well, what about the Great American Enterprise when it only has a budget and their claim that they are creating jobs and growing their GDP (Gros Domestic Profit).  There lies cookingthe books ... underreporting costs and overreporting growth of the enterprise. A sure fired bankruptcy in the making. That's the American Dream turned into a financial and fiscal nightmare.   All of these mistakes are now reported on the USA debt clock in times square. Ignored by the media, campaigns, news casters, fore casters, political pundits and our institutions of government at all levels. That's our American nightmare that promises a Dream of just the opposite. $170 trillion in collateral and $250 trillion in unrecorded obligations over the next decade ... if we are in business that long. With no profit, cash flow or capital development for growth. The essence of a failed enterprise buried by its own Amerinomics.  Not what we thought it was or is because our leaders never ran a business, never invented a product and never had to meet the $1.9 trillion dollar payroll of 24 million bureaucrats. Plus, we are no longer a democracy or a meritocracy, with DEI, ESG wokeism, open voting, open borders and inept leadership. Not build back bigger government or make America Great Again (a Hitler slogan) but Keep America Great.  It's Americanism not communism, not fascism, not democrat socialist, or Republic capitalist.  It's American capitalism and American socialism (human capital) that drives our laisses-faire enterprise to the top of the world of Trade, sovereignty and goverance.
