Welcome to Wednesday on Morning Kickaround! Jason is enjoying the Puerto Rican sunshine, so Luke Zagorski joins Robert Kerr for this hump day edition of the show. We open with American teenage Zavier Gozo singing with Crystal Palace in the Premier League. The Real Salt Lake wing back has six goals and five assists in MLS and is ready to take his talents to the Premier League. How does he fit in with the rest of the Americans plying their trade in England? Next up is a controversy involving the turf at Gillette Stadium. The stadium was outfitted with a grass surface for the World Cup and the switch back to an artificial surface has been bungled a bit. The Revs played three games on turf that did not comply with the MLS’s Collective Bargaining Agreement before the problem was noticed and solved. The problem affects the NFL’s New England Patriots, so at least we know the solution will arrive in a timely manner.
