Amos Yong - How Pentecostal movements and the outpouring of The Spirit affect 'Global theology'

Malaysian-American Pentecostal theologian Amos Yong was born in Asia but moved to the US in his teens. With a father who was a pastor himself he was steeped in the Pentecostal tradition, a subject that would fascinate him for his whole live. Yong is considered one of the most important Pentecostal theologians of his generation and argues that charismatic movements should be taken seriously as a theological tradition and not just an emotional or cultural phenomenon. Yong is Professor of Theology and Mission at Fuller Theological Seminary and author of The Spirit Poured Out on All Flesh, The Pentecostalism and the Possibility of Global Theology.
