Amplify Series 050 - Tensal

Dirty Epic welcomes @tensal for it's fiftieth episode of Amplify Series. Tensal is the name of the solo project that Héctor Sandoval (50% of Exium, Komatssu, Selección Natural) has created to accommodate his more cyclical and modern vision of Techno in which he combines different rhythms and textures. After a good handful of works released on his own label, he has released on some of the best Techno labels as Mord, Modularz, Arcing Seas, Polegroup (of which he is a founding member), Float, Kynant, A.R.T.S, Cabrera or Soma, where he released his first LP in 2018. He has also collaborated on a multitude of remixes with artists such as Slam, Electric Indigo, Envoy, Umwelt, Mike Parker, Pangaea, Amotik, Pessimist or Shifted, among others. His works have received the unanimous support of the scene and his tracks are play by DJs like Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, Marcel Dettman, Ben Klock, Ellen Allien, L. Garnier, Dubfire, Seth Troxler or DVS1 who are regular consumers of his tracks. In his appearances as a DJ, Tensal explores all facets of techno based on alternating different textures and intensities that are mainly nourished by his own material which has led him to perform in more than 60 countries in different parts of the world, from South America, to Japan, through the US, China, Georgia, Turkey, Korea or Russia, and of course Europe, where he is a regular in the booths of Germany, France, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Poland, Greece, Slovenia and the Czech Republic. In 2020 he created the project Komando Terrorismo Sonico (K.T.S) together with Juan Rico (Reeko, Architectural) in which they explore the limits of Acid techno and Breakbeat. The first studio album of the duo, called "Insurrección" was released by Tensal Ltd recs in spring 2021. In February 2022, the latest project by Héctor Sandoval called "Syndromania" will be launched, debuting on Hector Oaks' label, with "Sacrilegio". This is a project created to investigate the fusion of the most contemporary Techno with some of its most popular genres of the last decades such as Techno-Trance, EBM, Electro, Acid or Chicago House.
