As a cultural activist, Amy has traveled the world and attended the 2022 COP 27 UN Climate Change Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, advocating for Indigenous Peoples voices in climate change adaptation strategy. She is part of the City of Tucson Climate Action Steering Committee. In June of 2022 Amy joined the San Xavier Cooperative Farm, south of Tucson, as the Administration Manager where she is working diligently at strengthening O’odham foodways and the Tohono O’odham Himdag, or Way of Life, meant to ensure that decisions in the farm’s rehabilitation project are consistent with the culture. ••• https://resilience.arizona.edu/person/amy-juan https://www.sanxaviercoop.org/ ••• Interview conducted by Marco Rixecker https://www.amazon.com/author/marcorixecker ••• Radio Aula Mundi, August 2023 At the moment, Radio Aula Mundi is an evolving podcast station where no language and all languages are spoken… It’s a multilingual mix of music, poetry, lectures, languages, interviews, documentaries, recipes, and a lot more, co-produced with the students of the ‘Aula Mundi International Cultural Center’… --- Radio Aula Mundi Centro Cultural & Turistico Aula Mundi Aula Mundi Cultural Travel Centerhttps://radioaulamundi.bandcamp.com/ https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/radio-aula-mundi/id1584156605 https://www.amazon.com/author/marcorixecker Spotify YouTube https://castbox.fm/channel/Let's-talk-about-it%2C-anywhere-in-the-world...-id4725033?country=us BreakerPlayer FM Facebook https://www.paypal.me/radioaulamundi https://offtherecord.pe/ (Periodismo de Verdad) •••
