Today we are chatting with Amy MaynardAmy is a 30 year old cancer survivor, holistic chef and co owner of Piece Of Mind Wholefoods, a local community driven organic/ whole foods cafe in North Haven focused on using food as medicine. Amy's passion for mindfulness, wholefoods and community became a necessity throughout her cancer journey as a 26 years old, knowing she couldn’t return to the way she was living prior to diagnoses. Amy's whole way of being had to change and it wasn’t just the food, it was in the little things we tend to not realise, like our thoughts and presence-the often unmindful parts of our everyday life.
