An Interview with Louchavan Lemard: 2026 National Plumber of the Year

Andy Cam and Todd Glister are joined by Louchavan Lemard from PH247, who was crowned the UK’s first-ever Plumber of the Year at the Installer Awards 2026. They hear how Louchavan went from leaving school without GCSEs to building a successful business, and how his early experiences shaped his approach to the plumbing and heating industry. They discuss apprenticeships, developing the next generation of plumbers, and how PH247 is helping young people find a career in the trade. Andy, Todd and Louchavan also explore the realities of running a business in London, rising costs, employment pressures, what small businesses want from government, and the biggest challenges facing the industry. Finally, they look ahead to the future of PH247 and Louchavan’s vision for the opportunities ahead in heating and plumbing.
