Carl also shares his journey into the trade after a great playing career in non-league football and Carl explains how he had to learn to read and write while also learning the skills of a Plumbing & Gas Engineer. Andy and Todd also talk about times they've done bits for free, whether it can be irresponsible to make it a habit and when you should and shouldn't charge people. 

Todd Glister and Andy Cam look into what's happening at Installer Show 2026, taking place on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of June at the NEC in Birmingham. Organiser, Joe Sharpe joins the show to talk about the growth and expansion of the show and what's going on this year. Billy Boardman, who attends every year chats about why he goes and also whether the expansion and addition of other trades is a good thing or not. Brad from the Bald Builder's Breakfast on Fix Radio shares details about their plans to broadcast from the show and also his experiences at the show in previous years.
