Analyzing Relationships - August and the Smiths - Will and Jada

Was August in love with Jada as a lover or as a mother figure? August Alsina during an interview with the Breakfast Club's Angela Yee confessed to a romantic relationship involving Mrs. Jada Pinkett Smith, after allegedly receiving the blessing of Jada's hubby, Will Smith. As he held back tears, he described how he, "totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life,". At the young age of now 27 it left me wondering how he could have given "years of my life" as if it was a significant amount of time? But anyhooooooo, In this episode I consider the views on relationships not just by August, but by Jada and Will as well, including considering a short version of all of their histories and views about love and relationships. There are many things to be considered, and I don't mean simply the notion of open marriages and swinging. But things more impactful than that such as how our relationships with our mothers and fathers, or lack of, influence the development of intimate relationships as adults?  ONE PRESSING QUESTION I DO HAVE IS - what is Jada's relationship like with her own father?
