Andrea, SRA Mom and Family Court Advocate

Andrea and her daughters did everything right in disclosing the abuse from her husband and their dad in court. Unfortunately, in California, they hit the statistic that 85% of the cases where custody is revoked when abuse is brought up in custody disputes. Her daughter's documented history of abuse and trauma meant nothing to the courts, nor was it even looked at. Trumped up charges against Andrea "coaching" and "indoctrinating" her daughters to believe that they were abused were the arguments that caused her to lose not just custody, but even visitation. She hasn't seen them in 2 years and  7 months. A couple months ago Andrea happened upon the "Only God Rescued Me" podcast and realized that what her daughters had described to her contained elements of satanic ritual abuse. Suddenly what happened in court made much more sense. Andrea now uses her pain to advocate for families in the family court system.
