Andrew Young

Andrew Young, born in 1932, is a distinguished Black American civil rights leader, politician, and diplomat. He emerged as a prominent figure in the Civil Rights Movement, working closely with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as a key strategist and organizer.Young played a crucial role in the passage of civil rights legislation, including the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
