Angie Trudell Vasquez is the current Poet Laureate of the city of  Madison, Wisconsin (2020 - 2024). She is a poet, writer, performer, and  activist. Her most recent book, 'My People Redux' was released at Finishing Line Press in 2022. As a third and second generation Mexican American, she is still trying to understand her indigenous roots.
