Angie's Birthday Solo - Basically Thirty! Turning 27... These Are My Years!

#38 Hi, it's me, the 27 year old... aka Angie Xylas (one half of HEY GIRL...) I am turning 27 today and I couldn't think of anything better than recording a solo episode and starting a new tradition for Lara and I (Lara doesn't know about this yet...). In true Angie form, I had the sporadic idea, that every birthday, Lara and I should record a solo episode for the HEY GIRL world to share our thoughts closing one chapter and starting another... so let's see how this goes. This is me at 26 years old about to turn 27,  I wonder how life will look in a year’s time and I'm excited I will have this audio to come back to... 26 for me has personally been one of my emotionally toughest years, in the words of Billie Eilish “ I don’t know what I’m crying for”… and I never thought I would talk about crying, being single and going to therapy on the internet, so that’s on GROWTH and being vulnerable. So thank you everyone for your listening ears every week and your support for Lara and I and being here on this journey with us. Thank you to the people who reach out after an episode where we mention something and they come to check on us or give us feedback and advice - how blessed are we to have this small but mighty (and growing) community… Shoutout to my girls who are my world and a special shoutout to my cohost, bestie, sister, future MOH Lara Fanuli.... Lara I hope I did you proud with this episode and thank you for your hard work every week to get our episodes live… you little sound engineer producer angel. I am the luckiest girl in the world... I am so grateful for all the angels in my world and especially this podcast and how I have this little space in the internet world to just share whatever is on my mind... (I don't know if that is a good or bad thing yet...)! I definitely RAMBLED in this episode and some might say WTF was that, but hopefully you took something out of this and if you have a birthday coming up or a milestone or just if you feel like it - get the voice memo app on your phone and just TALK and EXPRESS yourself… there is nothing like a bit of self reflection for a bit of personal growth and if you’re not growing you’re not giving yourself the most out of this wonderful life we get to live, because if you have a mobile device, access to wifi, a moment to yourself with time to listen to this - you are blessed!  Does anyone even read these descriptions???
