Anna Azcona is an American journalist decendent of Dominican parents and in this episode shares her career journey in the media and entertainment industry. Anna explains the duality of living and absorbing both cultures and the importance of the values instilled by her strict upbringing. She shares some of the struggles she has gone through relating to colorism and stereotypes in media that still exist today. Anna currently writes, produces, edits, and hosts her own show “Anna Reclama” on SBS’ La Musica app. She is bold, driven, and a force to reckon with.
