A graduate of film and history from the University of Michigan, Annie went on to study at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where she got her start designing classmates' projects. Annie’s collaboration with director Jonathan Levine, The Wackness, won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival.  Annie designed her first studio film, Cyrus, directed by the Duplass brothers and starring John C. Reilly, Jonah Hill, and Marisa Tomei for Fox Searchlight.  Annie more recently worked with Jonathan Levine on his film, 50/50, a comedy centered on a 27-year-old guy who learns of his cancer diagnosis and his subsequent struggle to beat the disease, inspired by a true story.
