And I have a question for you. Have you been going through difficulties? Have you been going through trials? Has the world just gone crazy?
Or maybe it's just me? I don't know. Listen, man, I want you to know that no matter where we find ourselves, God has a word for us and it's a word for right where we are. And I have a message tonight entitled Don't Let It Get You Down.
And it can be a lot of things, but God wants to encourage your heart tonight and with an idea, with the thought, don't let it get you down because God is still in charge. He is still in control. Let's go check out the message. There is a word from the Lord today.
If you don't mind grabbing your Bible, it's turning with me to Malachi, the third chapter. And no, it's not what you think it is. No, it's not what you think it is. Malachi the third chapter.
Preachers grab Malachi the third chapter and turn. So we're talking about money. No, I have a problem talking about money and the whole experience we do that, I will do that, but that's not what we're going to do today. Malachi 3, beginning at first thing, first thing, when you please stand, we do that here at the House of Worship and Revenced to the Word of God at our ten o'clock service here in Oak Ridge campus where our mission is to go if I got it.
The mission is to go if I got it and help others to personally know and grow and Jesus Christ. And I greet all of you that are here, both those are here in the sanctuary and those who might be viewing the other internet. And whether you're viewing it in the live or viewing it later, I greet you and I pray that with my God that the spirit that's in this place somehow might be transferred to you wherever you want. Malachi 3, beginning at verse 13 and I'm reading out of the New American standard Bible.
Here's what my Bible says. God, speaking. Your words have been arrogant against me. Says the Lord.
Yet you say, what have we spoken against you? You have said it is vain to serve God and what profit is it that we have kept his charge and that we have walked in mourning before the Lord of Host. So now we call the arrogant blessed. Not only are the doers of wickedness built up, but they also test God and escape.
Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another and the Lord gave attention and heard it. And a book of remembrance was written before him for those who fear the Lord and who esteem his name. They will be mine says the Lord of Hosts on the day that I prepare my own possession and I will spare them as a man, spare his own son who serves him. So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.
And so for emphasis verse 18, so you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked and between the one who serves God and the one who does not serve him. You may be seated in the house of God. Let me tell you what Holy Spirit is saying to me, I don't have a title, but I have a title. Don't let it get you down.
Don't let it get you down. You look around the world today. I don't know what your situation is, but look around the world today. When you look at the world today, it looks like everything that's wrong is right and everything is right is wrong.
Maybe it's just me. Okay, all right. I talked to myself if you want to use your copy and that's fine. But it looks like everything.
So let me give an example. So we know that murdering children is wrong. We know that it's the spirit of Molak. We know that it's the same spirit of murder Moses, the same spirit of Jesus, the same spirit of the world today.
We know that's wrong. But when you look at our culture today, if you didn't know better, if you didn't believe the word of God, you would think that murdering children is okay. Now, we're doing it in America. I know we're using the government is taking your money and my money and using it to help murder children.
But now we're trying to export it around the world. Stay with me. If you didn't know better, you would think that sexual immorality is fine. Oh my gosh, I mean, let's not even talk about homosexuality in regards to sexual immorality.
Just talk about sleeping with somebody. I don't be a Mary. Just talk about, from that perspective, you can't turn on a show on television today and not have somebody sleeping with somebody. They do shows that are done around sexual immorality.
That's the main headline is coming watch sexual immorality. That's the word I live in today. It looks like what's right is wrong. It's wrong.
It's right. We look at the people that are leaders in the name of Jesus Christ. And they watch what they do and what they say. What they stand.
Nobody standing on the word of God. Nobody's talking about what God says. Not even in a veiled way. They don't have to say the word of God says, but they can say the right thing to do is nobody's doing that.
Everybody's going their own way. Everybody's doing their own thing in the name of Jesus Christ. And so if you didn't know better, you would look at the world and think what's happening in the world is right. What's happening in the Bible.
What God stands for. That's wrong. That's why there's such an attack on Christianity today. That's why you look so weird.
You look so strange. It's called the world. It's going pale male in that direction. And you're standing over here talking about the rocker Jesus Christ.
Talking about that's wrong. That's wrong. That's wrong. That's wrong.
That's wrong. That's wrong. That's wrong. You know that's wrong.
So now they want to say you got a disease. It's all going wrong. Wickedness is running the world. Wickedness is prospering man.
Wickedness. Wickedness. The more wicked you are, the higher your position, the more wicked you are, the higher you get. You get to be wicked and be a president.
You can be wicked and be a vice president. You can be a congressman, a senator. You can be a governor. You can be a governor.
You can be of some level of integrity in the name of Jesus Christ. We would expect from our leaders not anymore. And so now the name of Jesus Christ. But all the wickedness that's going on with all the wickedness in the high places.
If you are really an authentic child of God, you got to be saying to God. What in the world is going on? Where are you going to step in God? Come on man.
I see you don't face book man. You have any dialogues with people who are so asleep. In the name of Jesus Christ they say they are Christians but nothing they say lines up with the word of God. Nothing they say lines up with what God really meant by what he said.
In the name of Jesus Christ. So over and over and over again you see what appears to be God not even caring about what's happening in the world. And you and I are saying why the world is going on? Where are those things going on?
Even in the church house. Even the church house church has been closed for over a year in the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ. We got people in the poop.
Over in the sacred books standing behind the sacred desk and the name of Christ called themselves pastor and living full blown in sexual immorality. The whole congregation knows about it. Nobody says a word in the name of Jesus Christ. The church is going ahead of the gala.
All we are concerned about now is that we fool the poo. Get the pews for man. Tell me the food of the election played man. Forget about honor and God.
We train you. As long as you come to church and get entertained. You leave feeling good. I don't even have to crack the Bible.
I don't even have to read a scripture. I was going to tell you how to be a better parent. I'm going to tell you how to be a better friend. I'm going to tell you how to climb the ladder of corporate success in a more effective way.
Oh man. That was really a good talk. We heard this morning. I came to tell you that that devil is a liar.
A lot of people have been asking questions and wondering about how the home for the homeless children in Mexico is going. I want to thank all of you who so many of you have supported us both with prayers and with your financial support. I want you to know that the project is moving forward rapidly. We have purchased 14 acres of property.
We did that in December of last year and the building has already begun. So we're hoping to be complete by the end of the summer and the worst scenario by the end of the year. I want you to pray about prayerfully continuing support if you've already been giving. If you haven't been to join us to partner with us to help us to build this home that's going to have an incredible impact for the children in that area.
So thank you in advance for your support, for your prayers and for your financial support. Thank you. Yeah, yeah, it looks like everything. Everything's messed up with God.
Can't be able to tell me to tell you today. Don't let it get you down. I don't know about you, but I have a burden off of it. I can get depressed off of it when I look at it.
Think about I got children in this world. I got grandchildren in this world. This world keeps going away. This is going right now.
What's it going to look like in 10, 15, 20 years in the name of the tree? I can get depressed about it. But I came to tell you today. Don't let it get you down.
Don't let it get you down because I want you to know today that the purifier is coming. The purifier is coming in. It's coming in. Digging Burgess, the purification process will begin.
The purification of the nation will begin with me. It will begin in the pulpit. It will begin in the front row. It will begin with the preachers and the teachers.
It will begin at the church house and the name of Jesus Christ. It will deal with the way I deal with God, the way I deal with you, and the way I deal with money. Yeah, it's going to extend for me. It's going to extend to the people.
It's going to extend to the nation itself. Let me tell you something. The name of Jesus Christ is going to come swiftly. It's going to come unavoidably.
It won't be an excuse for this. It won't be an excuse for this. Hey, this is what I was thinking. This is what I was planning on doing.
It won't be an excuse for this. And here's the bottom line. The bottom line is no longer in the fear of God. How many Jesus?
There's a long in the fear of God. The preachers won't preach the fear of God because you'll get mad and you'll pick up your Bible and then you'll go outside and go outside and come back there anymore because it don't make me feel good. But what you need to hear is divine, holy conviction of the holy ghost. That's what I need to hear.
There's no fear of God. Fear of God in the pulpit. No fear of God from the man standing behind the sacred death. There's no fear of God on the front row.
And there's no fear of God in the congregation in the name of Jesus Christ. Do what we want to do. Do what we want to do. Say what we want to say.
Come to church and we get good and ready in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no fear of God. And there will be a purification coming to glorify my Lord and Savior. Jesus, there's no fear of God anymore.
This scripture says that we're not giving God what He's doing. We want to give Him. We're not even concerned about what He's doing. What if I feel like giving the God?
That's what I give the God. We're not just talking about money. We're talking about service. Talking about time.
Talking about obedience. Talking about honor. Talking about reverence. Talking about glory.
Talking about praise. Talking about worship. We don't give God what He's doing. We're giving whatever we want to give Him.
And this word says today that there's a curse on us because we're not giving God what He's doing. Not only is the curse on us individually, but our nation is cursed. I want God to heal the nation. I want revival to come.
Let revival come. I want revival come. We're about to talk about some chronicles. 714 in the name of Jesus Christ.
I came to tell you today until you and I are true authentic believers begin to give God what to do Him in every aspect of our lives. The name of Jesus Christ. This nation is going to be under a curse. But I came to tell the believer.
The authentic child of God. All the stuff you see going around and all the foolishness they've got going around. Don't let it get you down. There's still hope in Jesus.
Couple of things real quick today. First thing we see in this scripture is the prosperity of evil. There's an assertion in this scripture that says in essence, God don't care. He don't make any difference between good and evil.
Do what you want to do man. God don't care. Even if you begin to bless, they get trampled over. So whatever you want to do that, evil is being prosperous.
There are those who go through and say, if I do whatever I want to do this, evil, it doesn't matter. God doesn't care. And here it is. There are people who are walking in their sinfulness who are saying in the name of Jesus Christ, I'm going to defend the God.
What do you mean I'm offended God? I'm offended God. I'm offended God. I don't have a problem here.
Me and God don't have a problem. I don't need to repent. I don't need to fall down. I don't need to tear my clothes.
I don't need to ask God to forgive me. I don't need to weep and bitterness and tears and the name of Jesus Christ. Hey, when I look around me, whatever I want to do, every somebody else is doing it. God still being blessed.
Scripture says that they rob God, evil people rob God, and they try to trip up righteousness. Not only are they out of order, not only are they not giving God what's due to God in Christ, but they try to trip up the righteous so that they don't look bad, because you're going to hide his. If you're operating in darkness in the light coming into the room, everybody is going to see what you're doing. We're trying to shut down the light, prosperity of evil is a curse.
They don't say a curse. It appears as though evil is winning. It appears as though evil is prospering. People have departed from God, and not only are they departed from God, but they don't even try to fake religion anymore.
Come on, man. You know, you got some people, you got some people. You can look around here at the house, or we should be going to look around here at any church, authentic church. People that were here a year ago, now only have they departed from God, they have departed from God, but they're not even pretending like they got any religion anymore.
That's the call, them on the phone. They don't, they hang up, that's the call, them back on the phone. They don't answer, that's the text, them, they don't respond, pass the email, they don't respond, that's the send them a letter, they don't respond, they don't think it about church, they got a new habit in the name of Jesus Christ, they have departed God, they're not even trying to fake religion. It comes like Satan was now, man.
They back on the track, it was on before, it's worse now in the name of Jesus Christ, because they come to the conclusion that I can do what I want to do, God, God, God, God, God, don't care, there's no difference between God between the good and evil. All that stuff they're talking about down in the church house, hey man, that's spiritual, hocus, pocus, that's mumbo, jumbo. God says, you're speaking arrogantly against me. Can you say, there's no difference between right and wrong?
God, do whatever he wanted, God, God, God, God, God, don't care what I do. I sleep who I want to sleep with. I talk, I want to talk. God said, you're speaking arrogantly when you talk about me in that way.
When you say it's pointless to serve God, you'll be my arrogant in the name of Jesus Christ. You're calling the arrogant blessed, you're saying that the wicked are prospering. He said, you're saying there's no punishment for evil. He said, it appears as though the evil is prospering, but I came by here today to tell you, don't let it get you down.
Psalms 37 one and two says it this way, fret not thyself because of evil doers. Neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. While Lord, for they shall soon be cut down like the grass and whither as the green herb. Don't let it get you down.
All the craziness you see in the world today. Don't let it get you down. When you see people rise from positions of power and use they power to do things that hurt the people in the name of Jesus Christ. Don't let it get you down because I came to tell you today that the purifier is on the way.
No, no, no, not only is there the, seems to be the prosperity of evil, but I came to tell you today, let's focus on the promises of our Savior. Yeah, that's what he says. He says that the biblical principles are right and wrong. The biblical principles of good and evil, they never change.
They never change. Let me tell you why they never change. They never change because the one that wrote them never changed. He's the same yesterday, today and for evermore.
He's God and he never changes. So what was right then is right now, what was wrong then is wrong now, what was holy then is holy now, what was wicked then is wicked now in the name of Jesus Christ. So listen, because good and evil are still the same. The principles of the Bible don't change.
And the strategy for how you win and become successful, that they stay the same. Therefore you need to know true follower of God that you shall, we shall not be consumed. Yeah, that's good news. I don't know about you, but I used to worry about it, man.
You know, what's gonna come after this? You know, after I've gone on to be with the Lord, I got my children here, my grandchildren here, the way is going now. Man, it look real ugly right now. My name is Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit came to me and said, don't forget the promises of God.
He brought to my recollection the strangest thing, Minister Tate. And that is he brought to me the cross. He said to me, as Jesus Christ is being flawed, that he's being beaten, as he's being spat upon, as he's being just totally abused, as he's being nailed to the cross, as he's being pierced in the side. He said, it looked like things are going in the wrong direction.
He said, it looked like the whole thing is done. It looked like all the promises of God would know and never. It looked like that all the things, the whole thing that we had, that had been dashed upon the rock. He said, Friday, look bad, sad, look even worse.
He said, but don't forget the promise, Tate. Don't forget that some 4,000 years before that, I made you a promise in the name of Jesus Christ and I still come through because I'm faithful and I'm true. He said, in the name of Jesus Christ, no matter what's going on around you, you're not going to be consumed. Oh, that's good news today.
That's good news today for somebody. See, my promise is still gonna be fulfilled. It's still gonna be fulfilled in time. I said, I was gonna bless you.
I said, I was gonna bring you to a good land. I was gonna bring you to a place that prosperous. I told you that it's gonna be exceedingly abundantly above all that you could ask or think. That promise is still true on your life.
No matter what it look like, I know it look like it can't happen now. Look like it's impossible to happen now. But I'm a God that deals with the impossible in the way, in the name of Jesus Christ. That brings me glory.
My promise over your life and over this nation is still. Yes. Still, yes. Still, yes.
Still, yes. And amen, he said, but he said, I got to get you to learn how to follow the Holy Ghost. Oh, stay with me. You won't like this part.
Not only do I got to get you to learn how to follow the Holy Spirit, that's why I got to get you to church at a point where you can worship God, where you're pushing in to the presence of God. I'm so glad that we have a minister of music who is not in a hurry and is worship time with the Lord. Help me, Jesus. I need to watch some stuff off me.
I got to get some in the world off of me in the name of Jesus. He said, you're gonna have to learn how to worship God so I can follow the Holy Spirit. This part you won't like, but end to obey the preaching of the prophetic man of God. Oh, oh, oh.
Okay, I lose my half y'all on that. I was good on the Holy Spirit part. I said, if you don't have to learn how to listen to the Holy Ghost talking through a man of God and do what he told you to do in the name of Jesus Christ, cause those combination of two things are gonna get you blessed. I don't know about you, but I needed to hear that.
I needed to hear that message that I need to keep my focus on the word of God, on the personal Jesus Christ and on the cross, his love for me. No matter what's going on in my life, no matter what's happening in the world around me, that God is still in control, he's still the sovereign God. And as I think about that today, I also want to remind you, I want to encourage you, if you will, to give your heart to Christ. If you're in a situation, if you know that you're living alive, that dishonors God, you're never giving your heart to Christ.
I want to give you that opportunity right now to give your heart to Jesus Christ and change your destiny and your eternity forever. That God loves you, Jesus loves you. He loves me and he died on the cross for our sins so that we might have the opportunity to choose him. So that's your desire tonight.
Just simply pray that prayer in your heart and surrender your heart to Jesus Christ. He's surrender your life to Jesus Christ. And he will honor that prayer every single time. That's the one prayer Christ always, always answers, if you will.
And that is when we surrender our hearts to him. And when you do that, let me know, cause I want to pray with you. I want to put you on our prayer list so we can continue to pray for you that you continue to grow in your relationship with Christ and live that abundant life that he died on the cross for you to live. Amen.
So let me pray with all of you tonight. Father, the name of Jesus Christ, we're simply asking that you would step into everyone's life that is listening tonight and everyone's situation, Father. We all have challenges, we all have difficulties. We all have trouble, if you will, Lord God.
Reminding us, Master, that we don't have to let it get us down. We don't have to let it move us into depression. We don't have to be anxious. We don't have to worry, Lord God, because we can just trust in you and depend on you because you always come through, Lord God.
So just touch the hearts of those that are watching, that are listening, Lord God, and remind them, Father, of who you are, Lord God, and how much you love them. We ask you to do that, Father, for your glory and for their benefits, the Christ name that we pray. Amen. Amen.
