Anti-Muslim rhetoric rising; How to protect yourself from fraud

DFW Airport has scrapped plans to install more Islamic foot-washing stations. It comes after backlash from conservatives online, and after Gov. Greg Abbott threatened to pull funding from the airport. KERA’s Dylan Duke reports it's one of the latest examples of growing hostility toward Muslim communities in Texas. And New York Times religion reporter Ruth Graham joins us to talk about how the DFW decision feeds into an uptick in anti-Muslim rhetoric in Texas. Plus, Texas was one of the hardest-hit states for cybercrime in 2025, ranking second nationally in both reported complaints and losses, with nearly 98,000 complaints and more than $1.8 billion in reported losses, according to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center.
