 Coastal Living reveals its second annual list of “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns,” an exclusive roundup of the happiest places to live along the coasts of the United States. Readers willdetermine the winner. Rally around your favorite seaside town or vacation destination and vote hourly from January 10 to February 28 on coastalliving.com/happytowns2013 or via smartphone by downloading the free Digimarc Discover app and scanning the image of your town of choice in the February 2013 issue. Coastal Living will reveal local hot spots and top travel tips along with its ranked list of “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns” in the June 2013 issue, on newsstands May 17. Coastal Living chose its 2013 “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns” based on criteria that included ranking on the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, percentage of sunny days, healthiness of beaches, commute times, walkability, standard of living and financial well-being of the locals, geographic diversity, and an editorial assessment of “coastal vibe.” Coastal locations named as “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns” in 2012 were not eligible to make the current list.  For the full list of towns, visit coastalliving.com/happytowns2013.
