Il mio nome è Antonio Emma di Dio e nacqui a Palermo il 17 marzo 1922. Fui sottotenente dell'esercito come mio fratello Alfredo. L’8 settembre 1943 mi trovavo alla scuola di applicazioni militari di Parma, dove fui messo agli arresti per un tentativo di opposizione ai tedeschi. Evasi dopo tre giorni e raggiunsi mio fratello Alfredo in valle Strona, dove mi aggregai alla formazione di Filippo Beltrami. Rimasi ucciso nella battaglia di Megolo, durante un conflitto a fuoco con i tedeschi, il 13 febbraio 1944.Venni infine onorato con una Medaglia d’Oro al Valor militare alla memoria, come mio fratello.
