from Radio Aula Mundi · host Radio Aula Mundi

The 'Musée Aquatique', Marseille's Underwater Museum is a museum  where some monumental and majestic sculptures have been placed at a  depth of 5 meters (16 feet). The purpose of the museum is to raise  public awareness of environmental issues, marine biology and to awaken  people to the world of art and water sports (snorkeling, diving). The  exhibited sculptures create an artificial reef. Here, the museum’s  founder, Antony Lacanaud, reads an excerpt from Jules Verne's "20,000  Leagues Under The Sea", discusses his experience as a diver, and answers  a question put to him by Christine De Luca, a Scottish poet from the  Shetland Islands. https://www.musee-subaquatique.com/fr/
