Are major companies getting too big?

In December 2019, markets have witnessed a 1.9 trillion U.S. dollar Market cap from Saudi Aramco, meanwhile, companies like Apple, and Microsoft have also reached Trillion dollar market values.  However, have these companies reached financial levels that are just too much for an private organization to have? Some of these companies have values that are larger or close to GDP(nominal and PPP) of many major countries. Can this impose a threat for the modern economy? Curious?
