Pierre Trudeau legislated the Multiculturalism Act to allow Canadians to practice their religions and keep their identities without fear of official persecution. But is Canada now in danger of losing its identity? Justin Trudeau proudly declared that Canada has no “core identity”. Is this a good thing? Other countries are dealing with their dirty business on Canadian soil - India, and China,and Palestine come to mind. A recent Leger poll shows that over 78% of Canadians are concerned about how a conflict thousands of miles away is impacting communities here in Canada.
