I’m so glad you’re here.Are you in the midst of a storm?Oh, my precious friend, you are not alone.Chaos is a reality.Unexpected troubles lurk around the corner.Sam had just left for work when the phone rang.“I hit the median! My front tire is blown out!”“Are you okay? What can I do?“I’m not hurt, just frustrated.”In a moment, life can change. Sam and I realized quickly how differently the accident could have played out. Early hours. Busy street. Dark road. Pouring rain. It could have ended so differently. Yet, God. Praise the Lord. We're not alone.Though I wasn’t standing next to my husband when his tire blew, God was present. And we praise Him for His presence in times of trouble.“The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” Psalm 9:9 ESVWhen storms arise, the Lord paves the way.“Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters,” Isaiah 43:16 ESVWhen confusion strikes, He makes our path straight.“God is my strength and protection; he makes my way go straight.” Sh'mu'el Bet (2 Sa) 22:33 CJBWhen life becomes intolerable, His yoke is easy, and we are in Him.“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:30 ESVWhen we stumble, His Spirit is our handrail.“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” Psalm 90:17 ESVWhen we cry out in the darkness, His mercy gives us Hope through Jesus.“Indeed, he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.” Philippians 2:27 ESVDo you rest assured of God’s presence? If you are in Christ, you can be sure, for you are never alone.Let’s journey together O Lord, help my heart to persevere when my eyes fail to see You at work in my life. You are mercy. You are my Hope. You are alive. You guide my steps. You light my path. Your love never fails.Praise You, O God, for You use every struggle I walk through to prove Your love for me is great. Thank You, Lord, for You are my Strong Tower, and I am forever with You. Hallelujah.  Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says.
