Are You Sprinkling Glitter On Sh*t?

from Go Regulate Yourself · host Brianne Roberge

In this episode, we are chatting all about the concept of toxic positivity, and how this can keep you stuck, preventing you from getting the results that you actually desire. We dive into the 'false' image that can be created online in the social media space, and why it's important to not believe everything that you see. We also discuss the concept of healing in relation to this, and how the 'journey' is where the real magic happens- not just at the 'destination'. This is because our healing never stops, we just get better at moving through the challenges life brings our way instead.   Biggest Takeaways Pretending that you are okay or everything is 'fine' when it isn't (aka ignoring your emotions) is the equivellant of sprinkling glitter on shit and pretending it doesn't stink. Many coaches believe that in order to be an expert in the online space, you need to portray an image of perfection where life is always grand and things always work out- but this is BS. Choose to be the first domino to fall. When you consistently seek out opportunities to grow, build your character and have a breakthrough, the closer you get to achieving the results you desire.   If you are ready to learn how to tap into your shadow self and learn how to embrace the deepest, darkest, ugliest parts of what you keep hidden from the world... then you'll want to join me on March 2nd for my 90 minute virtual workshop 'Embracing the Shadow: Letting Go of Fear and Stepping Into Your Power'. If you're curious to learn more or register, you can see HERE.   Plus... access my FREE shadow medition HERE.   If you've been feeling lost, unsure of who you are, as if you're repeating the same year over and over, or that just feel like you can't seem to move forward in life, then you might want to consider joining us for this 3-day in-person retreat in Edmonton, AB called Rising From The Ashes.
