Armand Majidi. (Sick Of It All. Rest In Pieces. Straight Ahead)

from The Brooklyn Blast Furnace · host Relatively Unscathed

The machine! Drummer for "Sick of it All", one of the greatest bands in hardcore. My guest for Episode 188 of The Brooklyn Blast Furnace is Armand Majidi. He was on in a smaller capacity on Episode 50 with Lou Koller, Craig Ahead and producer Jerry Farley. This is the first time I'm having a one on one conversation with him. We speak of course about the band and the uncertain future of musicians and live music. But we really go into his upbringing, living in Iran during the revolution, the things he witnessed while living there, what brought him to permanently move to America, and his take on what's currently happening here now. False flag operations, fear, viruses, and how everything is politicized. We touch on the series of "Quarantine Jams" the band is currently in the middle of releasing as well. I had a great time chopping it up with him and thankful for his time. Enjoy.
