And installing these paintings on Sunday at Providence Portland Medical Center, in the gallery space between the main hospital and the cancer center gallery in a space that is curated by Portland artist Seth Nehill. But also about how painting with my daughter makes for more interesting work (in addition to being blissful and exponentially messier for my workspace). I also share that I had a rejection today that stings, a gig I’d been planning on and got my hopes up about and I share that I had to decline a project I’d really love to have done because I have standard rates and can’t take on work that doesn’t meet my minimum rates.
