Ask A Man 10 July '24: 'Am I competing with my partner's late ex?'

Anonymous and his partner have been together for a year now. Anonymous says his partner is great, however, recently he saw his partner’s social media status and she had posted about how she buried her previous long term partner and hasn’t been the same ever since. Anonymous says he was taken aback by this status and they don’t really talk about her past relationship. Anonymous confronted her about the status and she has apologised to him for how it made him feel. He’s not sure if he’s overplaying the whole thing.
