Anonymous says one of the things her partner discussed with her in the beginning is that he uses isolation as a way to cope with challenges in his life.  Anonymous says he’s recently gone through some hardships in his work which has led to him becoming isolated and absent in their relationship. Anonymous says she doesn’t know how to react to him since she knows he does isolate himself when faced with challenges. Anonymous says reassurance and being present is an important thing for her in relationships, so she doesn’t know how to deal with this.
