Ask A Man 23 July '26: 'Should I accept that my relationship is bad because I cheated?

Anonymous has been with her partner for almost 9 years and says while he was the perfect gentleman when they started dating, she cheated on him in the early stages of their relationship.  After that he was a changed man and was also cheating on her. At some point he got physically violent towards her after he incorrectly believed  that she had slept with his best friend. They broke up after this incident but got back together because she was pregnant with their child, who was born in 2022. He continued to be unfaithful and they’ve been in an on-and-off relationship since then as result of his cheating.
