ASK THE EXPERT---Mina Larson (CEO, NCCAOM - Part 2)

from My Metro Medicine Podcast · host The My Metro Medicine Podcast

In Episode #11, we complete part two of our interview with Mina Larson, CEO of the National Certification Commission on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Washington, DC. (www.nccaom.org) According to their website, the “NCCAOM is the only national organization that validates entry-level competency in the practice of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) through professional certification.” In our interview with Mina, we asked questions about licensing, their national board exams, and questions that came directly from Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine students who participated in our survey. We are grateful to both Mina and the NCCAOM for allowing this special opportunity to look closely at what the organization is doing behind the scenes to support our growing profession. Thank you for listening!  (Full YouTube video available here >>> https://youtu.be/WPK7XPxCN6c) *IMPORTANT NOTE: This interview was recorded prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and before social distancing guidelines were implemented in the local region.
