ASPRS ECPC Mentors Podcast - Episode 3, Michael Detwiler

Michael Detwiler has worked in the land surveying and geospatial profession for 20 years, working in the private sector on projects ranging from land development, mining, transportation, and utility infrastructure. Michael is a Professional Land Surveyor and Certified Photogrammetrist, having performed aerial mapping projects by airplane, helicopter, and drone in about half of the U.S. States as well as Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. Initially earning a B.S. in Geography from the University of Arizona, 10 years later deciding to do it all over again and earn an M.S. in Geomatics from the University of Florida. Michael is a member of ASPRS, director on the state board of the Nevada Association of Land Surveyors, as well as president of the Lahontan Chapter of NALS. When he’s not staring at gigabytes of data, he likes to load up the family in the camper van and wander the remote parts of the western U.S. This podcast is hosted by the ASPRS Early Career Professional Council Officers, Youssef Kaddoura and Greg Stamnes.
