Astrology Lens: Week of Monday, July 6th, 2026
from Astrology Insight Now! · host Pamela Cucinell
Okay, so we all got through last week, I hope. Now we’re talking about Monday, July 6th, the week of 2026. This week looks, let’s say, noticeably less challenging than last week. There are some very nice aspects in the sky. We’re in a waning Moon cycle, and yes, Mercury is retrograde. So we’re in that mode of paying close attention to appointments, computers, clearing files, and backing things up. Very important.Assume nothing in communication. Make sure you understand people clearly and that they understand you. Jupiter is now in Leo, bringing fire energy around expansion, creativity, and more playful connection. And yes—the waning Moon cycle, if that wasn’t already said.I’ve got headphones on, but there’s a chorus of dogs in the background, so if I lose the thread slightly, I’ll find my way back.Monday, July 6 — Pisces Moon / Aries ShiftThe Moon moves forward at 1:21 a.m. into Pisces. In the early morning, we have a void-of-course Moon in Pisces. When the Moon is void-of-course, it’s best not to start anything new. Work with what’s already in motion, clear things, and prepare for the next phase. This Pisces void Moon is a good inner-focus period—low pressure, reflective, and soft around the edges. It’s a float zone. Things don’t need to push forward. There’s also a Sun–Saturn square in the early morning, which can feel like friction or a reality check around what’s in place and what still needs structure. If something feels off, note it and wait. At 11:07 a.m. the Moon enters Aries, and the energy shifts.Aries brings initiation, momentum, and urgency. It’s a strong restart point. So the pattern is: observe in the morning, then act after the shift. Don’t force what isn’t moving. Adjust once Aries comes in.This is still the waning Moon, Mercury retrograde energy— makes situations fast-moving, but requiring flexibility. It’s productive, but only if you stay adaptable.Neptune Retrograde (July 7, 6:55 a.m.)Neptune stations retrograde early Tuesday morning. Most people may not notice much, but for those doing dream work, creative work, or deep inner exploration, this can feel like a turning inward or a revisiting of older material in new ways. It’s a reflective cycle—less about pushing forward, more about perception shifts and subtle inner recalibration.Monday–Wednesday: Reset WindowFrom Monday through Wednesday morning, there’s a strong ability to reset and rework ongoing projects. This is good energy for revisiting something already in motion and seeing it with fresh eyes. Long-term projects can benefit from this kind of perspective shift. The Moon goes void-of-course again Wednesday at 2:42 p.m., then enters Taurus at 4:31 p.m.Wednesday, July 8 — Taurus MoonTaurus brings stability, but also resistance to change. It’s fixed Earth—steady, but firm. This can feel productive, but also a bit stubborn. Things want to move forward, but on their own terms.Listen carefully to information coming in. If adjustments are needed, take them seriously. Otherwise you can get stuck in an outdated plan or assumption. As the day progresses, there can be moments of feeling limited or internally conflicted. Sometimes that shows up as a push-pull between what you want and what you do.These are often internal power questions: what’s habit versus what’s actually aligned choice? If something feels confusing, step back and get clear rather than reacting.By evening, clarity can emerge if you don’t force resolution too early.Thursday, July 9 — Clearing and IntegrationBy the 9th, the intensity begins to settle. This is a good day for integration—following through, connecting, and making sure communication is landing clearly.Keep checking understanding on both sides. Stay in dialogue rather than assumption.Friday, July 10 — Taurus to Gemini ShiftThe Moon is in Taurus all day, moving into Gemini at 6:42 p.m.Taurus Moon days are productive and grounded. Good for steady work, focus, and finishing tasks. It’s a strong day for getting things done in a contained, practical way.Evening may feel a bit emotionally uneven for some—more of a “I did the thing, but I’m not fully nourished by it” feeling. That passes fairly quickly. After 9 p.m., Gemini energy opens up—more conversation, ideas, mental movement. It can feel scattered, but also lively and productive in a brainstorming sense. Good for mapping ideas and plans without final commitment (especially with Mercury retrograde).Saturday, July 11 — Gemini MoonGemini brings conversation, ideas, and movement. It’s a good day for light interaction, brainstorming, planning, and keeping things flexible. Not a day for locking things down—more for exploration and exchange.Evening is lighter and more social. Keep it simple.Sunday, July 12 — Void Moon / Cancer EntryMost of Sunday is void-of-course Gemini until the Moon enters Cancer at 6:46 p.m.This is a low-pressure day—better for play, rest, and light activity than anything structured or demanding.Good for time with kids, walks, games, or anything that doesn’t require force. As the Moon enters Cancer, the energy turns inward and emotional, and we move toward the next lunar cycle. This is the dark-of-the-Moon period—good for release, reflection, and letting things compost. Old projects or patterns can be set down here, making space for what comes next. For more details… Listen to the full weekly podcast!Spot on Astrology: Blog about celebrity astrology and eventsSend A Tip for Pamela? “Always Welcome.
