The Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Guardians and Houston Astros are within 3 games of each other. While on the other side, the New York Mets are holding on for dear life in the National League race and are currently tied with the Cincinnati Reds for the third and final Wild Card spot.
