Tanisha is the Allegheny County Community Organizer for the Abolitionist Law Center (ALC). She holds a B.A. in English writing and a minor in legal studies from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2022, Tanisha was named one of the Pittsburgh Magazine's 40 Under 40, and in 2023, she was the City Paper's Person of the Year for Activism. She was also the organizer for Pittsburgh's Black Lives Matter Organization.
