Which is more important, the death of Christ or his resurrection? Neither, they are two sides of the same gospel coin. However, in evangelism the resurrection becomes specially significant because while few dispute the historicity of Christ's death many dispute its spiritual meaning as a work of atonement. The resurrection however proves the validity of the gospel and is itself proven by being predicted in Old Testament scripture.
