Aug 8 - Day 220. Pray and ask in my name, saith the Lord

And it reads, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” Lord, thank you for reminding us that it is through the presence of the Holy Spirit that we are enabled to pray in your presence, reflect on your words, and live in ways we never thought possible. Too often, we live beneath the weight of doubt, fear, and feelings of failure. We look at our own limitations instead of fixing our eyes on you. As we pray, let us lay our limitations down at your feet and remember that whatever we ask for in your name, you promise to fulfill. It is not by our power, not by our wisdom, and not by our might that we are saved, and your work is accomplished. Support the show
