August 17 – Day 229. Pray and Receive Power

Send us Fan MailWelcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. As discussed in our previous episodes, our prayers will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. We began in Genesis and will conclude in Revelation by the end of the year. Today, we are delving into the book of Acts. Our scripture will be taken from Acts 1:8, and it reads: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” The Lord wants us to become spiritual witnesses and share his message of love throughout the world. He wants us to extend our reach to the corners of the earth, where his light must shine. As we pray, let us ask the Lord for strength, knowing that his mission is for us to spread hope to all nations.Support the show
