August 24 – Day 236. Promises of God

Our scripture today will be taken from Romans 4:20-21, and it reads: “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” As we pray, let us remember that the Lord wants us to approach our prayer with praise. What God has promised will definitely come to pass. Abraham did not waver in his faith regarding the promise that God had made, despite facing doubts and challenges. Instead, he remained steadfast and strong in his belief, consistently giving praise and glory to God for His faithfulness. His conviction was unwavering; he was fully convinced that God, who made the promise, also had the power to fulfill it. Let this unwavering faith not only reflect our trust in God’s word, but let it emphasize our understanding of God’s sovereignty and ability to act.Support the show
