Tyler Cole is currently working in Economic Development in Nova Scotia, Canada. Tyler has also worked in Marketing and Tourism in the Fort McMurray area over the past eight years. On this episode, Tyler and I discuss some of the anomalies of Northern Alberta, the local Astro-Photographer (Jon Tupper) in Fort McMurray who works with the Smithsonian, the value and transferability of post-secondary education, becoming involved in Sports Tourism and developing an inner appreciation for what drives things behind the scenes, the impact you have as a teacher, lawn-bowling world championships, putting together ‘bid packages’ to host community events, and, much more.
