Autism & Millennial Parenting

from The Kathryn Zox Show · host Kathryn Zox

Kathryn interviews parent and autism advocate Carrie Cariello, author of "What Color is Monday? How Autism Changed One Family for the Better". Through hilarious mishaps, honest insights and heartfelt letters addressed to her children, Cariello shows us how her son Jack's unique outlook brings his family of seven closer as each family member works to play a special role in Jack's life. Cariello is a regular contributor to Autism Spectrum News, blogs for the Huffington Post and has appeared on MSNBC. Kathryn also interviews writer and filmmaker Jake Greene, co-director of the web series "Millennial Parents: A Web Series about the New Generation of Domestication". When Greene became a father, he was faced with the challenge of being a present parent while staying current in popular culture. His weekly web series Millennial Parents, co-created with writer Natalie Irby, is inspired by Greene's life as a defenseless new father with two boys under the age of three.
