Avi met Jesus as a teenager when He "grabbed her heart," although she was convinced he was always mad at her. Her life didn't make sense until she started listening to her body. "Your symptoms tell your story," she wisely says. She listened and her body had a lot to say. Becoming a bride of satan in a ritual at age 8 and dealing with a false Jesus was confusing, leading her to the conclusion that God was mad at her. Finally, the dissociation faded and the memories came out, giving her the pieces of her life that finally made sense.
