Awaken Yourself Within You (Special episode on Mental Health Awareness)

from Psychology Talks · host Ambreen Nadeem Nadeem

Most people spend their entire lives in auto-pilot mode. They study what they do not like, but they do it anyway because they believe they can earn a fortune from that particular field. They work at places they do not like, but they do it anyway because they believe it offers them career growth. They hang out with people they do not like but do it anyway because they believe society will reward them if they are associated with those people. All such practices take them away from their true self. A part of their soul dies every time they choose others’ opinions over their personal preferences. The dissonance between their true selves and the persona they project creates emptiness. Such feelings of emptiness can only be resolved when you connect with your inner self and awaken your true self. If you wish to seek true happiness, there is only one part of the universe that is constant. That is the soul inside you. In this episode, Bill Dolan and I will be discussing how you can discover your true self amidst all fakeness. Bill Dolan is Emmy Nominated video producer. He is the president of Spirit Media. He has worked as a television, video, and entertainment director with celebrities such as the Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Maroon 5, Kenny Chesney, Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Voice, Shark Tank), world leaders, and global brands.
